I feel it is Man Utd's title to lose now.

 

Yeah it's pretty hard to see Man City overturning that 1 point chasm over the next 31 games.

 

PL defences aren't very good are they?

 

Cabs winning yet more points for Palace... we didnt even call his agent.

Actually i think its the ball this season, is much better than the ball in the past two seasons. Better for strikers. Loads of goals.

 

I think its the mentality and coaching time. There's so little patience with players and as a defender you get very few games to settle - clubs throw money at problems and go for impact players in attacking positions but at the back you can't just buy in a handful of quality players and call it a defence you need to piece them together and train train train defensive drills so you see defenders like Williams at Swansea and Shawcross at Stoke getting a great rep when they aren't better than some others they're just settled, drilled and grafted into a solid defensive unit.

As for the ball, I do sometimes wonder whether our defence trains with one.
