I don't know, from what I'm watching at the moment we can beat them blindfolded.

 

Kouman is correct - Soton can play better but today they didn't need to.
What else can I say, a good win for you and thoroughly deserved.

 

Great to have Ryan back. A few minutes in and an overlapping run!

 

If Newcastle can score 2 against Chelsea then anyone can. I know we are away but its a good omen.

 

What I'm pleased about is that, although the result was great, he knows we can be better.

 

Nice day indeed. Loverly ride through the New Forest on a sunny day. Watch Saints win ( the gentlemen and ladies of Kingsland N 37 were delightful). Even the A31 was clear on the way back.

My MOM was JWP, I think he's developed different aspects of his game this year. Don't rememberhim doing as much tackling last season.

 

We really needed this win and we needed it to be comfortable. Couldn't throw away the confidence from the MK Dons game. League positions are close, so every win shoots you up the table and every loss pushes you close to the relegation zone.

 

JWP is playing deeper this season. How's the bike going.?

Last season when lazy commentators (usually on crap NBC streams) were building him up to be 'the next big thing' I worried a little about his lack of explosive pace or tw*tbeard style tricks as I though they'd be knocking him down pretty smartly. But Ron has found the best role for him I guess. JWP is a very flexible footballer, and I don't mean bendy.

The bike is purring. It really likes the New Forest roads better than the A31 and M27 though.

Oh yes you did, much better composed on the ball attacked with pace, that we used to do. Now thats a distant memory, just wish we had Dyer in the team today.

 

JWP was a light weight last year, maybe why he never played in the middle. Romeo has been a very good addition and I was surprised that JWP once again got the nod ahead of Romeo. But I am beginning to see a different JWP this season, he is no longer pushed off the ball and looks to be holding his own in tackles, his workrate is impressive and is willing to chase a lost cause. Looks like he will soon be first pick out of VW and Romeo because of the energy he brings but also because he does not pickup stupid yellows

 

Yes, wouldn't have minded seeing Nathan again. I've forgiven him his little antics from years back.

 

I llloooovvveee the New Forest roads on the bike. Earlier in the year I popped out for a short spin on it and ended staying out for 8 hours just running around the New Forest. Just occasionally bike, rider and road become one. It doesn't happen every time but for at least 2/3rds of that ride it was. The only sad bit was coming home, but I was getting tired.

 

An odd day's football when an entertaining 3-1 match can be last but one on MOTD.
