Gangsta I think a tad of realism is needed sir. Most teams that play Arsenal will come out a "clear 2nd best" when Arsenal are clicking like they did today. No shame in that or reason for a meltdown. You cannot deny the brand of football we have produced this season has indeed been "refreshing and exciting" if you disagree or believe we can produce it on tap week after week regardless of the quality of the opposition, then I'm afraid you are in for a rude awakening. We will win more than we lose this season, of that I have no doubt and hopefully improve on 13th I'd be over the moon with 10th. Exciting times to be A City fan right now. Can't wait for the next game already.
MM you can´t play in the prem & expect to move forward with that amount of GA. You certainly won´t stay near the top & push for a place in europe (not saying this season) with it & that´s our owners aim.
Yes today we seen a superb Arsenal, and we were well beaten It's alright saying if this or that happened it would have been different. but to me the big factor and this is going to upset Proud and LG is the goalkeeper, I am sorry to say but IMO Kasper his just not prem class! He just cannot cope with crosses and does not command his area.
Just got back from the match, would have to say that a poor ref and linesman didn't help our cause in the first half. Second half the Arse were much better than us but I'm not too dismayed as we didn't play that badly. Kante and Drinky played really well, Mahrez had a shocker.
... you've said it yourself. 'pinch it' .. we have moved on from that ...we now go fir the deserving win
We weren't a clear second best against Arsenal in either game last season or in much of the first half today. Our tactical approach to the second half changed that though. I said there's nothing refreshing or exciting about being second best to the opposition, not about the football weren't playing. Incidentally, I thought we played equally well last season, however lack of experience and fewer quality squad options meant we often didn't get the results we deserved. Some fans were blind to this because of results. We had off games last season, yes. And guess what? We will this season too.
...then I think you have your rosey Nigel tinted glasses on ...we were fortunate to get draws against both Everton and Arsenal at home last season on the balance of play ...and we certainty did not have their defences on the rack like we had Arsenal's today ...the problems were at the other end ...
We will have numerous off games this season just like everyone else I'm realistic to that, some Leicester fans it seems are not.
Claudio dropped a bollock at half time by bringing King on, he was absolutely shocking - offered nothing going forward and was the same defensively. Not blaming my anyone as we've had a fantastic start but the wrong call today.
He's human like every other manager in the world. Cannot get every call spot on that's impossible. He has got more right than wrong this season in terms of tactical changes Anyway....on another POSITIVE note, a word for Jamie Vardy. How well did he take both goals...especially the first...very impressive
Yes, Vardy has definitely improved his finishing over last season and is now the complete package in my opinion. Any team in this league who ignore him do so at their peril.
