You've probably missed the fact our record against the better sides is the best in the league and has been since last season.... oops.
Wouldn't worry about it Dave. Toughest game there is away to palace so we should be OK. Last time we had the month from hell we made loads look like idiots.
Happened once mate. I blame Moyes. Good win today BTW, not an easy place to go as many have found out. Was it as easy as it looked?
Enjoy it, won't last long. But congrats, you win the trophy for being first ending the month of September.
It started tough, Leicester on top, went 1-0 up, could have easily gone 2-0 up but hit the post, and from that play we went on and scored on the break. Even at 1-1 they still looked good, but you knew it was one of those moments when the team you're playing is in the zone and are are playing really well, but that it won't last and if they don't take advantage of it, then things will go your way....And that's what happened, we slowly took over the game, and Leicester lost their mojo. Blind btw belongs to Arsenal, a CB who passes like that, Wenger is having wet dreams at that.....
Next week will be a big game, think it's the first time we will both playing each other when we are both high up at the table together.
Manchester United have a "realistic" chance of winning the Champions League by 2017, says manager Louis van Gaal. I should bloomin hope so too Louis. That's three transfer windows away which means you'll have spent another £450m by then (although £250m of that will probably be to replace £150m of players he's already bought and doesn't like anymore).
I don't know about that but I would say we have more chance than Arsenal do. This year, next, last year..... Any year basically.
that is Life after all .. one day you are on top .. one day not.. but at least we achieve and win titles while you like the pedestrian role.. zero ambition.. the only cup you can realistically win atm is the one which has been by win by alike of Wigan or Portsmouth in recent years. and yes we had some disappointed seasons, but we had others where we laughed on all other clubs.. can't sadly say the same about Arsenal ...
It was won by Wigan who beat City in the final and knocked them out of the cup again the following year. Hardly think you can shout down the FA Cup due to Wigan winning it when it's highly likely on any other day they lose that game. It's a cup competition, the whole point is you get upsets and any team who can put in the right performance on the right day can go through. That doesn't make it a **** competition. I'd imagine most fans including the plastic Utd brigade would celebrate and enjoy an FA Cup triumph. In fact I'm sure last season had we not dumped you out of the cup and ensured you finished trophy less you'd have been one of many on here gloating and using it against Arsenal fans. As for your last line: you can't say that Arsenal had seasons where they could laugh at other clubs due to how well we were doing? The Invincibles season (often regarded as the best team in the Prem era) was definitely a point where Arsenal fans could have the upper hand over all other fans...because we went unbeaten! Oh and I'll take Arsenals 2x FA Cups and 2x Mighty Community Shields over Utd's **** all over the last couple of seasons... Come back when you've won something
Quite right, which is why people should never right off Arsenals chances of winning the CL. Not really much of an achievement, Chelsea amassing the most points to win the league means they actually won more which is a much better stat. I would too, any trophy should be regarded as a successful season. All teams start off in these competitions but only one can win them ( I left the CS out of it because only two teams play in that).
