That's dedication to your chosen sport.
Yeah. He's done himself well. Don't get me wrong he's done brilliantly and he's the best ever darts player. I just think it can't be counted as a sport. He's not a sportsman but a celebrity.
Edwin Corley Moses (born August 31, 1955) is an American track and field athlete who won gold medals in the 400 metre hurdles at the 1976 and 1984 Olympics. Between 1977 and 1987, Moses won 107 consecutive finals (122 consecutive races) and set the world record in his event four times. In addition to his running, Moses was also an innovative reformer in the areas of Olympic eligibility and drug testing. In 2000, he was elected the first Chairman of the Laureus World Sports Academy, an international service organization of world-class athletes. This my friends is the greatest sportsman to have ever lived. If you don't believe me check out his record.
hard to say, i don't think he's the greatest ever, don't think anyone is but i don't like the other option so went for it anyway, he's still surely the most dominant man in one profession or at least one of them. basics, he's a ****in' legend.
Legend for who? A bunch of fat ****'s. Do me a favour. Your average Joe in the street is more of a sportsman than Mr Taylor. Don't get me wrong cos' he has talent , but to label him as a sportsman is an insult to my granny who runs for the bus every morning.
I wouldn't call him a sportsman but you have to have respect for him for what he's done and also for how long he's managed to be at the top of the game For anyone whos ever thrown a dart you know it's not an easy game so although the players may not be doing anything physical you need to have a lot of skill to be good at it
Skill and Concentration and in the big matches on the big stage i heard something about the lights (the heat off them ) and the effects of that on both the body and mind .. the top level is a lot different from playing in the pig and duck for pints
to all those that voted no ... is snooker a sport ? or even golf (fat ****s walking around smoking cigars) ?
