theevilreddevil said 'themselves feel better' so it must be more than one person from the club posting.
Just saw on SSN that the last Man Utd players to score in their 1st 2 league appearances were Saha and Macheda. Food for thought there.
I suspect there are a few more successful United strikers who also scored in their first two league games. To be honest reading anything into that stat smacks of desperation!
What's desperate? I just thought it was an interesting stat. Ominous? Who knows. But these are the only three league players to score in their first two league games for Man Utd. If he does well, great. It's good to see talented players in the premier league. If he doesn't, well, the signs of history repeating was there.
I actually would like to see him do well. As an Arsenal fan, it doesn't matter this season, we can't realistically compete. For a man that Young to have such expectations on him, It will be an interesting journey to watch. I just hope if he does turn out to be a top 10 player, he doesn't run off to La Liga.
He looks like he has the raw material to be a good striker. I just don't buy into all this "the new" whoever stuff that is attached to players or predicting how a player's career might turn out based on what another player did (or didn't do) in his career. It's lazy journalism.
True, I certainly agree. In Saha's case, injuries hindered what wouldve been a much stronger career. Macheda was a strange one. He just didn't develop. Martial seems very grounded and mature for his age. That's what struck me about him. The last time I saw such composure from a player at that age... well, we all know who I'm talking about.
I would actually back you to win it if you drop Rooney but that's one expensive bench warmer you would have.
From bbc sport Man Utd 0-0 Sunderland Posted at 15:38 This is not the display of a team who could be leading the Premier League at 5pm. Awful spectacle.
And then they scored at the end.....We need to beat their asses next week, we are owed a league win against them.
United's next 4 games Arsenal away Everton away City home Palace away Smacked between all that is a trip to Russia, and a midweek game against Wolfsburg. .
