Nice one RV..two nice colts there although I don't either will be world beaters. Another individual group winner for Zoffany.
Alice Springs helps tie in the Irish and English form. I think Minding and Ballydoyle are well ahead of anything that ran in the CP today. The nicest filly that ran today was the Godolphin winner of the first imo..really taking effort on debut.
Get in there Oscar my son. Looked a picture before hand too, nice reappearance and nice ride by Hugeshie.
Well done too RV. Can't ask for more than that on his seasonal bow can ya. What was STD doing out in front ???
Lumiere reversing the Lowther running with Besharah by three lengths is surely the final nail in the coffin of the York Ebor meeting form. No complaints about the winner as she was the best filly on the day. Hannon must be regretting Illuminate’s race rustiness as it might have cost her the race, but that is entirely his fault for leaving her standing in her box for two months. Hopefully they allow Mark Johnston to keep Lumiere for her three year old campaign. Despite coming to the Middle Park as winner of York’s Gimcrack, Ajaya, made a reasonable showing but clearly is not a Group 1 performer leaving Buratino to complete the forecast behind Shalaa. The winner did not seem to be travelling so well in the middle of the race but appeared to win comfortably and looks nailed on for champion sprinter honours in 2016 if he trains on and others do not improve to catch up with him. If you have backed him for the Guineas and the owners listen to the trainer, you have done your money.
Forever my Friend just about gets up after a bad jump at the last, not good for the old ticker but I'll take the win all the same, need Sizing Alberta in the last for a nice double
