Evening Ristac (and Eire for the earlier post). Always felt a bit sorry for Sam, what player doesn't want to better themselves and play at a higher level. But if the reports are true that he turned down a contract offer from Pearson that included a buyout clause so the club would have got decent money for him then I'm not so impressed. That cash is surely going in his and his agents pocket. Best we offload in January before his performance worsens and the support turn against him.
I don't watch the 21's but I know someone who does... botaka a bag of tricks but unsure how well that would translate to the championship... Ie too early to tell. Sloth, no mystery, just not cutting the mustard. Frankly I don't care if botaka is up to it as long as he does a bit of juggling and a few drag backs
The tribunal should take into account his age how many games he has played and what we have been offered, the clubs chasing him, I agree anything north of £1m will be about right as he has gone off the boil
Tribunal doesn't take into account a wage offer I'm fairly sure. What it will take into account is any transfer fees we rejected in the past. It will also take into account how long he has been here and how many games he has played. I honestly think the tribunal will be around 2m if it were to happen today.
The tribunal will in fact look at his health issues. After a storming first senior season he was voted player of the year and nailed on England player. We then saw a recurring injury problem and he had to take time out. Redfearn and BMcD stated that it was something that the lad would have for the rest of his career and he would have to learn to live with it. The club would support his needs and carry on reviewing how treatment and management of the condition happens. For me that means he is a potential crock and ever since he came back we only see glimpses of the player we hoped for.
Josh. I wasn't aware that we had turned down any offers for him. I know we blanked any interest in him but can't remember a firm bid?
Hi everyone 16 mins gone in the first union game and the pitch is suffering already.Scotland to come tomorrow and it will be a right mess.who gave the ok for this ?.bet the ground staff have their woork cut out.very bad decision if you ask me.
It is worse now at half time.we will need a new pitch at this rate.the thing is it will not repair in one week.have we two home games coming up .. ?.
Don't think Leeds would have bid to host games if they didn't think the ground staff wouldn't be able to repair the pitch. Time will tell.
Strange thing is if you do a ground tour, nobody's allowed step on the pitches but it's ok to play rugby. It won't be ready because I remember rugby being played in scums ground and it was destroyed afterwards
Thing is scotland are not a running team.there will be more scrums tomorrow.big lads will chew it up.
