Notice I didn't say best CB pairing as they are all ****e (Mbemba aside, but give him time). But who are the least worse pairing? Personally, I think it's Dummett and Mbemba. I'm sure that will get shot down by those who dislike Dummett but the defence was far better when he played CB last season IMHO, mostly because I think he has the pace and energy to cope with quick strikers. Coloccini is so easily exposed by pace that I don't think we can afford to have him in the side at CB. Leaving him out of the side would also conveniently mean that we had half a chance of someone else on the pitch showing some leadership as captain in his absence. Aside from never being fit, Taylor is easily out-witted by attackers and Williamson is slow, thick and positionally terrible. Lascelles I think is not up to the level of starting PL games yet. It's a desperate situation really but with everyone fit I would opt for Dummett and Mbemba.

Lascelles and Mbemba. That's without seeing Lascelles play <laugh>

You've already nailed it, Dummett/Mbemba, which lacks experience and will also ship goals, but as the title says it's the "least worst".

I'd go with Lascelles and Mbemba until Dummett is fit and can play with Mbemba.
    Williamson is ****
    Coloccini is a ****ing parasite.
Taylor - Well he's injured any ways.

The defending for Sheff Wed's goal last night was absolutely abominable, they looked terrified

Take Colo out of the equation. He could be used as defensive midfielder though as both Colback and Anita are struggling.

With Colo out of the equation at CB he would be in the pool for LB for me. Haidara, Anita, Colback or Colo. It would seem very back to front to have Dummett at CB and Colo at LB but I think I would prefer that if Colo is indeed un-droppable to the manager. Right now I'd try Colback there I think.

Think you mean Colback is! Anita isn't struggling - everyone else is around him is struggling!

Aye but Steve has dropped him anyway so he can stick with his fellow ginger. You can't trust them <laugh>

I must have missed something this season. Perhaps Steve is looking at the ground covered stats (Jack features top 5 or so I think)? Anita should be starting with Gini. Sissoko, Colback and Cisse should be no where near the team on form. Neither should Haidara or Colo but what choice do we have. Lascelles and Colback at left back?

We just need to pick players who are in form to start with. Aarons, SDJ, Anita, Perez should be starting.

Colback is a ****. I predicted all of this back when we first signed the ginger down syndrome bastard.

The Soccer Saturday panel on Sky have just that McClaren needs to start dropping the players that aren't doing it. Namely, Thauvin and Cisse. I would add Sissoko to that

Bit silly to drop Thauvin in my opinion, give him a break and a chance. Sissoko on the other hand needs getting rid of. Same goes for Cisse.
