I like it. At least it's original. Mind you, I'd rather not see it tomorrow. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I'd rather see Victor do his famous "stampeding herd of rhinoceroses" celebration. <cheers>

I know, but I didn't even notice it until boredom took me into the early hours. :)

Just thought it worth flagging to those who are rail users. And now, I'm gonna attempt that thing called sleep.

Nice to know the night staff are beavering away while us mortals sleep.

I shall be setting off earlyish today as some council employee is still playing games with the A31 over here in Dorset. Makes it tricky at times even on the bike.

This creature of habit has been forced to buy a seat in a new area for me, Kingsland 37. I hope there are no rough boys (or girls) in this area.

I suspect we may see goals. 3-2 to Saints.

Today, I will be mostly feeling pumped.

Really looking for a sea change in our results. Manchester United was the usual anomaly that we must expect when we play them. We restricted them to three shots on target (much like we were doing throughout last year) and they got three in (much like they always seem to do against us). Restricting chances is down to skill. How many go in is largely luck. Up at the other end, we were creating shots on target and they weren't going in (same logic applies).

So, we're doing it right, just waiting for our luck to change. It will. And if it starts today I'll be a happy man.

A second date....wow...perhaps you could explain to Pomps what that is. Have a good day.

I'm still hungover. From Thursday. A win would help.

Am trying to write this and have done so a number times so far because I do not to want to come over too negative - but not overly confident about a win - I see this being another draw with both teams cancelling each other out. I see us being a little more defensively minded after letting three against Utd and The Swans do look dangerous on the counter - so our options up front will be more restricted as we try to cover the break. Our lack of creativity coupled with our less than impressive shots to goals ratio means we will not create that many chances and when we do; finding the net will be challenge. So happy to be proven wrong (and usually am).

I think our recent high score against an admittedly low quality side will encourage our adventurous streak....may shoot with more abandon.

Agreed - but hit the ball on target too. TBH - I would welcome a change up front with JayR or Long starting and have Mane and Tadic as the wide AM's - I feel we are crying out for something different up front - something to make the opposition think and possibly hesitant.

When we were at our best, we had players that passed the ball rapidly and could shoot (though usually from inside the area)...slow build up just makes you predictable...though it does have its place if you just need a period of keep ball to exhaust the opposition into submission. Nothing like scoring to increase confidence....pepper the goal enough and one will get through. #crossedfingers

If you can't sleep, I suggest you watch the full 90 minutes of the West Brom game, if that doesn't get you snoring, nothing will.
