Honorary Degree from the BBC

    Which sports person would you award an honorary degree, in which subject and why?
    Iregbenu Paul: Cantona, PhD in Fisheries and Shipping management for all his talks on sardines and trawler.
    Ben Tatton: Paul Scholes: honorary degree in geometry as his instinct for the angle of a pass is genius.
    Sir Fred Mutai: David Silva, degree in Geography; he spots where everyone is whenever he has the ball on his feet...

    BBC rolling football news have been debating what honorary degree you would give to someone involved in football - most recent postings shown above.

    So who would you give an honorary degree to (obviously with a Saints connection) and what for?

    How about Nigel Adkins Phd in Literacy for bringing poetry to the masses.
