I can't reveal my HP however , he is a respected TV and Radio pundit , he told me today that , and I quote '' Reading between the lines Brendan is gone and I expect it to be announced tomorrow '' , you heard it here first !
Looks like he's fallen in a bigger pile of **** than he can manage to come up smelling of roses from this time ! Or will he worm his way into a last chance saloon somewhere else, desperate enough to swallow his blarney ?
I don't think so , everybody can quote his soundbites and frankly are laughing at the bs he's got away with for years !
Sad to see Rodgers still being vilified and treated with scorn on this forum/board. Far too many football supporters seem to suffer from the same shortcoming, i.e. memory failure. Is this not the very same Brendan Rodgers who took The Swans' into the P.L.? So,he has "soundbites". Big deal. Many others, some less accomplished than him, employ such behaviour. It goes with the territory. In fact, supporters expect, and even revel in them. I don't laugh at him,and I don't think followers of Reading FC do either. At least he has something tangible on his managerial CV,unlike the present incumbent of Swansea City, whose managerial accomplishments amount to zero. So,if people want/ need to laugh at anyone, perhaps Garry Monk is a more deserving target.
If you removed your hand from your eye, thereby enabling you to see the greater picture, life would be a lot easier for you. Do you have one eye closed in the classroom, teach?
Not looking tooooo good for Brenda at the minute?.... I hear all the time from the Scousers that it's been a long time since winning a Trophy, so maybe Laudrop could help them out, he'd be perfect for them, with his top international agent King Tut, doing the business in the transfer window, I can smell Champions league Trophy in the air, oh hang on, we'd lose Vetch to the Scousers board then though...........
They could do worse. At least his name and world wide reputation would suit. A good fit in that respect. Laudrup was just TOO BIG a name for The Swans'. It was always going to end in grief for Jenkins & Co.
It wont be King Kenny with Gerrard that would be worst than Brendan who took over from Kenny. I admire Brendan for trying his best and to be fair he has kept them at the top every season so i wont be slagging him off for doing better than most teams managers, What Brendan lacks is being able to spend vast amounts of money on the right players that suit Liverpool. Brendan is as good as any manager in the premiership but he lacks being a Arsen or a jose or a fergie. he is one step behind those managers but he has nothing to be ashamed of. Liverpool are too big a club for his ability and Liverpool need a really big proven manager that can run a big club....Brendan has done his best but it was just not good enough but that wont stop good clubs from signing him up....
Sorry Dai have to disagree, he has flattered to deceive , the amount he has spent for no tangible results will frighten most clubs off .
