I think that I'm just about finished with this club now!

    Sorry, the point is that Pardew wouldn't be doing any better, with the utter misguidance of the Lee Charnley show. Pardew had experienced players with heart who'd played in the PL, it's not surprise that when we rock up with next to no EPL experience, we fail time and time again. Pardew was then undercut time and again by Charnley, Llambias and of course ultimately Ashley.

    There was more noise at the first few home games from Newcastle fans than for quite some time but the team have given nothing back and after the last few years desperate football it is very easy (and understandable) to go back to feeling negative about the side. You can't blame the fans for this one bit. It's poor signings, poor management, and more than anything else a total lack of effort from the players. Christ, it doesn't take much from the players to get the crowd going at SJP; they are desperate to cheer their team on.

    How on earth ended up in this position??

    :headbang::headbang:[/QUOTE]

    Come on Turkey stop acting like you don't know.
    We haven't forgotten. We will never forget.

    If you hadn't bottled it on your promised date with Satan then we'd all be enjoying the good times.

    You could have been a hero. A legend. A saint. But oh no instead of martyrdom and self sacrifice for the greater good, you went all self preservation on us and wimped out.

    Yoj have not only brought shame and embarrassment to your family but you have guaranteed doom and gloom for Toon fans. You have caused eternal damnation to everything NUFC. Just to preserve your own hair arse and mouth.

    You gave us hope. You promised to be our salvation. You raised expectation and made us dream of great things for the club. Then you shattered those dreams in one fell cowardly swoop.

    That sir is why we are in this position. And only one person can change things for the better.

    We do support our players and team. We just don't get the attitude and effort back. We see it on the pitch and then we start to moan because the players give less than 100%.

    Starting to really not like McClaren. Yeah I know he should be given more time, but after the dogshit festival served up under Carver I have very limited patience right now.

    I'm not even unrealistic in what I want. I don't expect to win the league or anything, I'd just like to avoid relegation scraps and have the odd decent run at a cup, which, really, given the size of the club ought to be well doable. But it isn't (for some fat pie eating bastard reason).

    McClaren is really starting to get on my nerves. Persisting with a formation that clearly doesn't work and persevering with players like Sissoko is one of the reasons why we are close to crisis.

    Last chance saloon for me. If it's not Perez and Mitrovic up front together on Saturday it's dead. Thauvin, drop, Sissoko, drop. Start with Aarons and Obertan, just to send a message. Gini and Anita in the middle, for the language if nothing else, Colback I assume is left back!! Just fcking change it. If we don't the message is it's OK to lose to Sheffield Wednesday, you'll still get picked. Surely even Steve isn't that stupid.

    Same for me. If he dares to play Sissoko tomorrow and play one up top then that is it. It shows me that he's spineless and afraid to drop people/ change things.

    I can just about understand if he goes with Sissoko vs. Chelsea, where his reputation began (and ended) a year and a half ago. But Thauvin was worthless. If he's sending Aarons out on loan and letting Thauvin get away with it, his value as a manager is negligible.
