DIdn't bad mouth the players? Apart from Mario and also throwing the youngsters under the bus last season. And whilst he may not be that vocal, his actions certainly did undermine some of the players and staff - the way he has treated certain players because they were signed by the committee has been shocking and detrimental to the team, and how he didn't stand up for Pascoe and Marsh when they got sacked shows you a man who is desperately clinging on to the biggest job he'll ever get.

Most likely to be Ayre and Gordon. Ayre is mates with Rodgers, and is the one who warned FSG from looking at Rafa as well.

Don't think Rodgers is going today but I think he's gone once we're 99% of landing Klopp/Ancelotti. I think the owners want to avoid resorting to an interim/caretaker manager.

Who would I choose - both are excellent, proven managers. I would take Klopp because I believe he is more suited to us. The way I See it is Klopp is a Shankly type, and Ancelotti is Paisley. We need Klopp more than Ancelotti.

And a lot of that is the rumour and speculation I was referring to: you have absolutely no knowledge of what what was said around who plays or not or what was said surrounding the departure of his team.

The Mario stuff has become pretty clear why he left and its on him.

This is what I'm talking about Jimmy. There is enough evidence that he can't do the job on the pitch which is all that's needed. All this painting him as Satan is unnecessary. Obviously you have the right to do it but I just think it's unwarranted, especially since you are getting the result you wanted.

Here's a question thinking of what's happened at United.

If we manage to get one of these top class managers..how long does he get to turn things around?

Kenny an LFC legend was given a year and a half.

Rodgers as a young and inexperienced manager was given 3 years by the owners.

So how long does the big manager get?

No I dont think so either. I'm just curious how the owners will go now. Their grand experiment (not just Rodgers ) is a failure in footballing terms.

How prepared are they to change to the norm they saw as crazy....

One of the investors in FSG headed up a consortium to buy a controling stake in Roma, and people made the incorrect assumption that it was therefore FSG. It wasn't, it was a private equity investor Thomas DiBenedetto, who just happens to also have a stake in FSG

I think people liked Woy. Just didn't like his football. Probably more the Paolo Di Canio of Sunderland.

You forget Woy has won twophies
