It seems that McClaren isn't convinced Aarons is capable, at present ,of being a 1st team player and is contemplating sending him out on loan for 3 months.

    http://www.themag.co.uk/2015/09/newcastle-offer-rolando-aarons-out-on-loan/

No wonder he is known as a Wally with the brolly. We are absolutely rubbish at present with our " wingers " Thauvin , Sissoko & Obertan " performing very poorly and Aarons when coming on late in games looking a damn site better. Surely we need him in our squad ( I'd play him ) and not let him go to a Championship side.

    How do others feel?

If Aarons isn't as talented as Obertan, he might as well quit and take advantage of a government apprenticeship while he still can!

If this story is true then Wolly really has not got an eye for talent.

HE HAS CONSISTANTLY PICKED THE WRONG TEAM EVERY GAME!

we know he's got talent however look at it this way....

keep him in the first team for the next 3 months which has problems throughout, cant score never mind win, moral goes down he stagnates and becomes another bigi, campbell etc or...

send him out on loan to a good champ team who are doing well, he improves as a player etc etc.

I've been disappointed each time I've seen Aarons play this season, including Saturday.

He's missed a lot of time to injury and hasn't played a lot of football but he looks a shadow of the player he was this time last season. A spell in the Championship is very likely the best thing for him.

I can certainly see the argument that it's not the best thing for us, but if he gets back to his best during the loan spell it might be.

As for McLaren, he is what he always was: the poor (or in our case very rich) man's Pardew, with better anger management.

You two are mad as a *****ose. He hasn't been given the opportunity this season, but the little bits he has, is when the team has looked dangerous. Him, SDJ and Perez make us look a better side every time they appear. I can't see any sense in sending one of our most talented players out on loan when we are struggling so badly, then fairing slightly better when he appears. He should be starting every game at present. He is far more deserving of a starting role than Sissoko that is for sure.

    Perez constantly makes things happen.

This season Aarons constantly looks to make things happen. Unfortunately he tries to do this by trying to take on half a dozen defenders. Makes a decent fist of the first couple but then loses his way.

The intent is there. The talent is there. His current method of combining the intent and the talent, however, renders both useless.

De Jong is up there with Gini. Flashes of promise interspersed with long periods of mediocrity.

Perhaps Aarons is trying too hard to impress though. One thing for sure is the minute him, Perez and SDJ enter the fray, we are on the front foot building play properly. Sissoko, Cisse, Colback? Just drop them. Its not complicated, don't perform, don't play. Has Aarons shown more than Sissoko? Yes. Has Perez shown more than Cisse? Yes. Has Gini done better in the deeper role than Colback with SDJ at 10? Yes.

Still don't think Aarons is ready for first team Premier League action and with the fans we have if he plays the next 3 games and is **** then the fans will be on his back non stop.
