Anyone watching this, so glad Newcastle wasn't mentioned, however Leeds, Sunderland and birmingham were implicated and even Mr Hammann (the Uefa guy), very interesting..

Also it does not bold well for Alex Ferguson and Bryan Robson!!!!

I'm recording it on the tv drive thingy, you say Alex Ferguson's mentioned, is this another tv company he will refuse to have anything to do with?
    How bad did it look?

A guy called Joe Sim seem's to be the big player in. Showed photos with him and Fergie.

He claimed Fergie and him were like brothers.

Also they stated owning more than 1 club was illegal (no ****) but there were ways of getting around it.

Robson was in on a few meetings.

At the end Robson and his mates put no money in but get some of the profits for their contacts and so on.

Funny the contacts know nothing about it.

On the plus side we werent mentioned in the programme.

Yeah for once Im actually slightly pleased we are owned by Ashley, these consortiums (some could be expressed as syndicates) will stop at nothing to make a profit, im sure at some point they mentioned selling the training grounds to supermarkets for huge profits.. Im aware Ashley is also only in it for profit it but atleast we know where the moneys coming from, and the club is fairly stable

I've said it before ... but better the devil you know!

I work in the offshore finance industry (used to work for a trust company). The documentary mentioned that Wolves is owned by a Trust in Guernsey, Blackburn by one in Jersey. I for a number of years set up, administered and ran corporate structures like the ones used to hold these sorts of assets. Believe me it is nigh on impossible to find out who actually owns a club if the ownership organogram at any stage reaches an offshore centre. (it says as much on the documentary). Believe me we could be in a much worse position than being owned by Ashley.
