Campbell I thought played quite well too, he was holding up the ball well, showing good strength and he was another who looked like he's trying to prove he has what it takes.

He's done well in loan spells and at international level and previously I'd been really excited about him but he seemed to stall and not kick on. If he's back around the squad maybe he is starting to show that potential again?

Was at a CLP meeting, so I annoyingly missed the game but I've just seen the result and I am over the facking moon!

I honestly thought that the player who I deemed to be a liability in this match would cost us the game and I am thrilled to be proven wrong. He scored two goals which I don't think anyone in the world anticipated <laugh>

Delighted with this win, hopefully our tails will be up now and we can push on.

    Excellent result.

Imagine letting Flamini score against you...twice. The f*cking shame of it!

Now to wait for my Spurs boss to come into the office and pretend to care about this mickey mouse bullsh*t trophy <cheers>.

Did anyone go to the game last night? There's been some reports of anti-semitism during the game and I was wondering if anyone heard anything.
Most unlike your fans, if there's any truth to it. I don't like you lot, obviously, but the rivalry's generally pretty civilised.
The arrests after the game appear to be to do with the hoardings thing, so I don't think that's part of it.

I hope not. Some of the Arsenal fans truly disgraced themselves last night. When i used to go to away games, especially at White Hart Lane, the taunts have tended to be harmless.

In all honesty, that's why I stopped going to a lot of home games. You get a lot of the prawn cocktail brigade adding nothing to the atmosphere. Then on the other end of the spectrum, you get the away fans who tend to be hardcore gooners, and there you will find a minority of idiots.

That's a big, big shame if true and I really hope it's not. There's a worrying trend for anti-Semitism and Islamphobia in society, and of course football games attracts idiots, though they are very much in the minority.

Arsenal are reported to have an even bigger Jewish supporter base than Spurs, so if there was any ani-semitism I doubt it was from genuine fans.

    • There are certain derogatory terms used to describe Jews that would not be accepted in polite society & the only people I saw/heard using them on Wed's evening were spud fans tbh.
