Garbage. I was merely making the simple point that even your only 2 league wins this season were hardly convincing.

Barring 45 minutes at the Emirates you've been rank this season. If you don't want to accept that, then crack on mate.

  3. ATM only one man can make that happen, do you think he'll ever do it?

Shame we went out of the league cup last night

But we played a weakened team and then had 2 injuries on top of it (one of which forced us to play with 10 men)

We created some good chances and with a bit more sharpness or key players like Sturridge, Benteke, Henderson back in the side we could have easily won

It's always the case that a weaker team can put 11 men in their own box, ride their luck and get through. It's clear that only one team wanted to play football but sometimes that doesn't work #partofthegame

Listen, mate. No-one is a more loyal supporter of LFC than me. But I've witnessed Liverpool win two European Cups in the flesh and was at Heysel. We're a 1000 light years away from that where we are now. Enough's enough

But the real problems were still there A. It's the same pattern. Every team now knows we are inflexible. Sit back then counter with pace and you are guaranteed to take something away from the game from us .

No one on our team believes we will win anymore. We panic when we go behind, we panic when a team equalises.

The fact that a league 2 team could come (one that has conceded the most goals so far in the top 4 divisions) and successfully adopt the same strategy is not good.

They too had rested their top goal scorer and a couple of others!

We created more chances than in previous games but that's a bare minimum requirement when playing a team so far below us.

And our weakened team wasn't kids. It's the players we are relying on to step in seamlessly in the PL when others form drops or are injured. If they can't cope with a league two side after not being able to cope with teams in our league, it doesn't suggest us being unlucky..it suggests something very wrong.

I agree that the main problem is not the actual football but the panic

Supporters are panicking, the players are panicking, the manager is panicking

How about people calm the **** down a little bit, if only for their own health?

#reality check: we are unbeaten in all cups and have more points in the league than last season

I've had stuff to do and a lot on my mind which makes all this trivial but .......... the heck happened there!!

Came in to check the result about 10.30pm expecting a hard fought win, penalties against Carlisle [no disrespect intended] all I can say is I'm really happy for their fans who had a great night to remember.

Really glad I didnt bother to watch this game, had an idea we'd be sh!te again.Agee with what Tobes said..............."You didn't win the game. You scraped past a league 2 side on penalties, which were a combination of ****e efforts and decent keeping.

    ****ing embarrassing

Over £300m spent and that's the outcome, you ought to be calling for his head on spike yer melt. He's a total #fraud"

It's sad that we are talking about our manager like this but it just isn't acceptable to play like this and as I've said I'd rather him walk and us all just say thanks and we move on. At least then he'll be remembered sorta fondly as one of our managers. If he keeps going here he's going to get slaughtered every time he walks out at Anfield, there were boos last night, he's really digging himself a hole by staying on.

We cannot afford to fall further behind this season and the possible opportunity to get Ancelotti or Klopp is there at least try and get one of those in before someone snaps them up.

It's normal for the assistant to do post match in this comp but there's been nothing from Rodgers today, the club are trying to brush this under the carpet and hope we beat Villa on the weekend.

FSG can look into it but as far as anyone calling for Rodgers out can know they have already declared themselves out of contention for medical and #meltdown reasons

Do managers ever come out the next day to give bonus conferences? Or is it now at the stage that poeple are whinging for things they even know to be "normal"?

Maybe he's preparing for the next game which is in 2 days and will have a press conference before it anyway
