I think Advocaat will walk away shortly as there is talk of it happening already.

Rodgers will leave within 3-4 weeks. (So say at start of next international break)

McLaren will be given more time.

Graham Beecroft said this morning that Rodgers is going to be replaced as FSG have had enough.

So it sounds like it's going to be Brendan.

Quote from my mate who covered the match last night and who gets on with Rodgers (get well soon card):

"Time to go. He's lost it. Irretrievable."

I'm (obviously) old school, but I'm sorry: enough's enough. I don't enjoy managers being sacked, especially ours (apart from Roy), but this has got to be dealt with and quickly. Our once-famous club is a ****ing laughing stock.

Sorry, saint. I can't help it now.

Brendan Rodgers can leave the stage in the middle of a song: but he's greedy he wants "golden handshake"

Advocaat has already come out and said if there is a better manager than me he will step down but unfortunately giving his managerial background he is the best manager for the job.

McLaren shouldn't be sacked. The team is a shambles and it's gonna take well over a season to sort it out.

I just can't see us sacking Rodgers.

...and they probably regret that decision now.

The fact that the usual ex-kopite media PR machine bods, are now all throwing him under the bus, means they know he's ****ed imo.

I don't think it'll be McClaren as despite the points they've accumulated, they've not actually played as bad as you'd think. They've had a few red cards that have cost them.

I think it's between Advocat and Rodgers mainly, though don't rule out Jose Mourinho completely either, they have 7 points from 6 games, so another loss or 2 in there next 3 or 4 games and he'll be right back into the reckoning. The win against Arsenal has admittedly bought him some breathing space.

I think there's a good chance someone will go this weekend, we play Sunderland at home, so a big scoreline there could seal Advocats fate. On the other hand though anything other than a win for Rodgers this weekend at home to Villa could also see him sacked.

And as for Ancelotti coming in as Rodgers replacement, maybe he'll also persuade some of his old stars at Madrid like Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale to come with him too. Or more likely you'll end up with Gary Monk who'll bring Andre Ayew with him in an attempt to solve your lack of goals

Oh look the thread I spent time making has been merged into one created 3 years ago.

Whoever did that needs to go and sit on a cucumber.

Somebody used Graham Beecroft as evidence that Rodgers will be gone? <laugh>

There's a reason he hasn't ever broken a real Liverpool story or nobody's heard of him. It's because he knows **** all and is guessing just as the rest of us on here are.

I have been impressed with a lot of our kids to be honest. Which is why I'm so surprised we have been bulk buying in the past few transfers. <br />Surely a World class Gk, CM, DM and FWD would've been better. We could have spent 40m on each player. Had a world class spine and had the kids playing in the other positions.

Just need a manager who understands this. We were so close 2 yrs ago. It's gonna take a while to get there again.
    Look at Man United! !
