I am not an advocate of Corbyn, although I do believe he has a place in Labour, even if they are unsure where that place is. There were things in that brief interview I would like to see taken up more fully. Allam has poor interview judgment; his politics need more explanation. He really is a very strange man.

 

That's the problem with politics! Or even the world in general, there are good bits & bad bits, but as a voter, or in AA's case a donater, you have to pick & choose the good & bad bits yourself, & then decide where you put your X!

Isn't that what people do? They first say how wonderful the UK is and then they try to make it more like "home"!

 

That's just being sensible. In the 1970s there was ridiculous house price inflation. A guy I knew who'd just qualified as an accountant bought a five bedroomed house - he was single and lived alone - because it was the best way to make some money quickly.

 

Unfortunately we live in the UK where people do none of that, they simply read a newspaper & put the X wherever Murdoch tells them to

 

Well people who do that are idiots.
Maybe it isn't done like that. Maybe people think about the issues and decide for themselves. It might be the people who's policies are not wanted who give that as an excuse.

There's a lot of irony too with Allams charity work always being flagged up, you would think he would realise that he has a lot in common with Corbyn's socialist ideals in helping the community if he actually gave the matter any thought, instead he calls him names just like he did with the fans.

 

I can think for myself.....but election results show that a majority of those who vote cannot

 

So unfair when people think differently to you, isn't it? They should stop giving people a choice like some countries and then we would always get the right result.
