... you might just notice their absence from the next round of Capital One games ... just saying like
To be fair, Leicester ha e done well considering they lost their second best ever manger. Peter Taylor and Nigel Pearson as match summarisers could be 'fun'.
You're doing exactly what Ive said you'd do - Ranieri throughout his entire career makes an incredible start at all of his clubs and then when it goes wrong for whatever reason - there's suggestions he gets repetitive and players get bored and switch off - he simply cannot get it back on track. He will 100% not be Lester manager by the end of next season.
Without Big bad Nige Leicester has lost most of the faux animosity that had been built up for me, still any home draw in the early rounds and you've got a chance, so bring the ****er on i say
I've got no objection with you seeing us as a good draw. On paper it's a good draw for both sides as it's better than the previous rounds. I accept Swansea are stronger than we are so after beating them, you fancy your chances and for us, West Ham were a stronger outfit for us to get past especially with their away form. If we played tomorrow I'd be very confident but a lot can happen in a month so I'll pass judgement nearer the time
You may be right ... but he seems to have left clubs in far better states than when he arrived so I'll take that ... What I particularly like is his ability to spot and bring through emerging talent ... he gave Joe Dodoo his firt team debut against Bury in the first round of the Capital One cup - he notched a hat-trick - and followed that up with the first against West Ham on Tuesday ... By the way ... take a guess on who signed Anthony Martial for Monaco ...
He didnt with Inter, Juve and Roma. Or Valencia second time round. Or Greece. At Chelsea it wouldve been almost impossible not to have improved what he inherited considering the subsequent investment. Likewise Monaco. I dunno, their sporting director? At Monaco the coach very, very rarely has responsibility for signing players.
Excuse the intrusion guys but my fellow fox , FF meant we are the only unbeaten team that includes league and cup matches so far! I don't think Brighton and Pompey are still in the cup are they so perhaps in conclusion they have indeed been beaten this season !!
Ranieri had the final say as far as I've read it ... apparently he often watched the reserves with Pecini - Pecini had mentioned a really good kid playing for Lyon reserves (I think) so they duly watched that game together ... Ranieri was suitably impressed ... Pecini kept tabs on the kid's availability and alerted Ranieri when that came to pass .. Ranieri then sanctioned the signing ... Ranieri does IMHO have an impressive history in the youth developmnt sphere ... brought Mendietta through from youth ranks at Valencia ... same with John Terry at Chelsea (where he also signed Fat Frank and Claude Makalele) ... perhaps the best one was when he was at Napoli and Maradona was leaving ... go out and replace with an expensive purchase? ... or bring someone through from the youth set-up? ... enter centre stage a diminutive pimply youth .... Gianfranco Zola. I'm more than happy to have him as manager ... as you might have worked out
Thought it might be someone of that ilk. Now why did Fosse bring that up? Have Lester appointed him or was he simply checking our knowledge of the transfer dealings of European football clubs?
No he didnt. Zola didnt come through Napoli's youth set-up, he signed for them at 23 (pimply youth?) and he played alongside Maradona in the first team. But other than that, good points well made....
