By initials only. For example AJ. Adam Johnson v Allan Johnston. LC. Lee Cattermole v Lorik Cana. Who wins those two match ups? Anymore would be appreciated. Even better if they are SAFC match ups. But heres a difficult one. Although not both SAFC players. But SAFC linked. SB. Steve Bruce v Steve Bould.
Don Goodman vs Danny Graham Stefan Schwarz vs Stephane Sessegnon Alex Rae vs Andy Reid Eric Gates vs Emanuelle Giaccherini Connor Whickam vs Colin West vs Clive Walker vs Chrissy Waddle And a difficult one for last..... Len Shackleton vs Louis Saha
AJ - Allan 'magic' Johnson gets it for me like. That left hand side with Micky Gray was unbelievable. Although Adam Johnsons goals against the mags earns him 'legendary' status LC - Difficult one as I do like Catts but purely based on skill/vision (plus his name is cool) I'm going for Loric SB - Steve Bould = Legend. Steve Bruce = Bellend.
LC Both a Loada Crap it highlights just how bad we are when people turn to these dinosaurs, they might just have fitted into Don Revies early Leeds teams but in todays football they are extinct.
But to his credit (i know i know) Bruce as a player was very good. As good as Bould? Maybe not sure. I seem to remember that one season he got 19 goals in all competitions. now no one can knock that.
This ^^^ Schwarz used to drink in the footy club in Durham after the reserve games - seen him have 15 pints and not even be pissed man!! Crazy! He could handle his drink but he was a cracking bloke and, as you say, cool as ****!!
Gabbiadini - Best Striker of the 2 Micky G - Best Left Back of the 2 Gabbiadini - Best penalty taker of the 2 !!!
Tony Towers was the best penalty taker that I've ever seen at S.A.F.C. I might be exaggerating, but I seem to remember that he used to hit both posts and the ball would go in off the 'keeper's head As Paul Whitehouse would say . . . . Brilliant Anyway . . . . back to the subject Tony Towers v Anthea (Michael) Turner (think about it)
