Oof Everton away. I'm not keen on that. A reasonable opportunity to duck out I suppose.

Will be a tough game but if we continue to play this well then we have a chance.

Yeah, tough but not impossible. They look pretty solid at the back but not sure they have too many goals in them.

I wouldn't be disappointed if Rudd became our first choice. He's a great keeper.

RyBen's recovery tackle was something to behold as well. Those sort of tackles are one of my favourite parts of the game.

Pretty impressive for those two players to look so sharp given their relative lack of competitive football.

I think Redmond is going to have to perform well vs West Ham or it might be Olsson at LB, Brady Wide left and Jarvis wide right.

It also seems to me that Alex is trying out some games without Wes to see if we can still create. So far I'd say we still need him. We get into a lot of good crossing opportunities but don't seem to be able to convert them, as well as lacking that penitration through the middle. WBA gave us a lot of space and no one really took advantage of that. Grabban actually got into some decent positions but just doesn't have the touch or vision. We'd have been better off if WBA were actually attacking at all, as he'd have been able get into the box late with more space, rather than having that space 40 yards from goal.

I'm glad Lafferty finally got his chance upfront and he took it really well. Scores one, crucial in distracting the defence for the own goal.

Final point, I was really impressed with O'neil. He's a great leader on a pitch and a pretty good player to boot. MOTD analysed Schweinsteigers passing and controlling in that long move that led up to Mata's goal. O'neil was doing exactly the same all game. He was pointing out the passes, telling other players where to go and just controlling the flow. His job was made easier by the lack of pressure from West Brom but you could see why Alex rates him.

Great result and so good to see Lafferty get his opportunity. Really hope we see more!! Anyone else at the game or watching have an opinion on Ryan B? Outside of that hero tackle how did he go?

Thanks for the link. Jarvis and and Lafferty goals were class! So pleased for Laff. Was he the player who slid in to create the own goal too? It's gonna be pretty hard for AN to keep ignoring him. Rudd looked good again, and good to see Mbokani involved in chances. Did he haveany attempts himself that went close? Or was he more involved in build up?

That assist for Jarvis's goal was as good as Wessi at his best! Brilliant!

Jarvis is looking a very shrewd acquisition giving us balance on the left and also able to play right wing as well forcing Redmond to maintain form.

He could prove to be the smartest piece of business we did all summer.
