Because they worked at that time hence promotion ...they dont work now as anyone can deal with them now...hence hull winning with less possession and less shots on target.....no brainer really...
Hull won because our accuracy in front of goal is pants. We need to sign someone like Charlie Austin in January.
We need to get back playing like we did before the international break......We could easily have won yesterday if we played our proper players and played the way we started the season.....
But it breeds and we have some tough games coming up, lose a few more and we will be with the basement teams playing catch up. The last thing i want to hear off anyone is.........We played well but.....or we should have won that.....the ref's fault we lost. blah blah blah.......we would have lost because we were not good enough, It's as plain and simple as that. We have to win our home games and try and get a point or 3 away and we were doing that before the break.....
It's not just us. After 83 minutes against Carlisle, Liverpool have had 35 shots with 14 on target and only 1 goal!
Incredible stats. But it does highlight that maybe strikers/goalscorers aren't as good as they used to be.
All excuses, Its down to tactics and Monk got it all wrong just as Brendan did, There is only us and the toon who are dier this season that lost, Liverpool won and still in with a chance of winning a cup.....we are not and we should be if we played our strongest side. our fringe players are good players but the tactics were all wrong...
