What are we saving our players for, if not the NLD. On paper they are fielding an even weaker team than ours, but our CB pairing seems designed to let in goals, unlike theirs.
Is it just me or do other people hold the surprising belief that officials get close calls for whether or not a ball rolled out for a throw in wrong almost all the time?
That's awful from Vorm. He's got all day to deal with it and palms it straight back out. He's really not been up to his Swansea standards for us.
I knew Vorm would throw one in, the first thing you learn as a goalkeeper, push the ball out anywhere but the middle.
And they do. Vorm should have done better, but our defense looks very porous in general. Our attacking players on the other hand, have dribbled and/or paused when good shots would have scored three or four times.
