We did better against the Fijians than the wallabies did. Excited to see Burgess get a run out. There's talent there.

Fiji obviously not as weak as many people were saying and have gave both us and Australia a run for our money..

I don't think they're particularly good. I think they're just an awkward team to play and it's fair to say neither us or the Aussies have hit the ground running. Doesn't mean a lot. Better finish strongly than start strongly.

Think hes after a new home. Like a puppy found by the pdsa.

Putting on the sad eyes and a little whimper and wag of the tail at anyone who walls past.

But always hopeful that one day the rightful owner will find him and take him home.

You could have a point as back a long long time ago he did work in Sunderland - so a little sentimentality may be in play here.

**** that. I support the socceroos as our lot are a disgrace but when it comes to anything else I support England. Cricket, Rugby... All the other sports we're better than you guys at.

It may be that, ignoring what the likely result of us against Manure is, watching the England v Wales game I could be drinking all my alcoholic units for one week in 80 odd minutes.

I do obviously hope we win, but it looks as if we have chosen a side that is about forward domination (not sure if that will work without Armitage and Hartley) and the robot iceman Farrell (son of coach) to kick the penalties rather than Ford or Cipriani to have flair and tries.

Probably not going to great to watch, more of a grind. The twickers car parkers are very upset if you mention the squad selection and on a number of forums I have enjoyed the vitriol from them

I work on the Wirral with a lot of welshies and although most you can have decent sports banter with there are a disconcerting number who have a massive chip on their shoulder. They give it so much more than they can take it, I need England to win and I expect them too. Tough though.

Been a tough game but we could well have just about withstood what the Welsh have to offer.

Welsh deserved it. Fair play to them. Stayed in touch while we were playing well and capitalised by finishing stronger.
