Schrödinger is certain there is a cat in the box. Heisenberg is not so sure.

 

First statement is correct. Second statement needs clarification. Heisenberg can't predict whether or not the cat is dead or alive because of the inherent inability of measuring whether or not a lethal particle can be observed to have killed the moggy or not. Both are certain the cat is there as it's presence is basic to the thought experiment. The issue: Is it dead or alive after observation ?
