Just burn the nursery to the ground. When they rebuild it tamper with the blueprints to have it moved further away from your house.

Get a pair of binoculars an axe and a tub of Vaseline.

Sit in a fold up chair facing the nursery using the binoculars to peer into the nursery when parents are dropping the kids off. Make sure both axe and Vaseline are visible to the public.

Soon there will be a lot fewer kids in attendance.

If you put a noise level meter on that, it would defo be above acceptable levels.

Don't go moving it yourself then, your back will give out and they'll find you trapped under a gate at 6 in the morning.

There are no posts. The gate is attached DIRECTLY to my wall. I was a student EHO and noise polltion is defo a route that could be taken.

Build a room around the gate so they can't access it?

If it wasn't attached to my house, it wouldn't be the serious problem it is.

Having seen it on google earth they've got no right then, but as I said they can simply install a post that doesn't attach to your wall and you'll be no better off.

Trying to reolve this amicably without the letter would be my advice.

As for the noise, do you really want some EHO sticking recording equipment in your bedroom? <laugh>

So to get this straight, you're okay with someone attaching a gate to your property without permission as long as it doesn't creak, clank, scrape, or grate?
