It's the sequel to Aliens, it was never released, but he's seen it on a stream at Patty's.

I like Del Toro. He also produced The Orphanage which I really like, it's a very brooding horror film.
If I had to go for a Hollywood film it'd probably be True Romance, the end of which I found almost euphoric upon first viewing.

I always liked this early 70s Spielberg movie maybe the end was a bit poor but as a younger lad I liked it.

Never did see the truck drivers face.

I prefer the alternate ending to Casablanca from the Simpsons.

Unfortunately it's in Spanish but you get the jist.

This makes me think of sayings in films that have never been said. Of course there's the famous ones like "play it again, Sam" and "Beam me up, Scotty" that everyone know about but I only relatively recently learned that "Me Tarzan, you Jane" was never said.

"Luke, I am your Father" annoys me.

He never says Luke. He says "No, I am your Father".

Well yeah, from memory doesnt he say Luke in the prior sentence? Something like:
"Luke, Obi Wan never told you what happened to your father."
Luke says something like "he told me enough, that you killed him"
and then its "No, I am your father".

I havent watched it for a long while so that might be massively wrong....

    Nearly.

He doesn't say Luke at the beginning of that sentence either <laugh>

As a sad ****er obsessed with Star Wars, I know it. It goes like this:

Darth Vader: If you only knew the power of the Dark Side. Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father.
Luke: He told me enough! He told me *you* killed him!
Darth Vader: No. *I* am your father.
