The mackems getting toused off City was bad news for us I think. Dick will jack it in and they will appoint Fat Sam as next manager, who will no doubt keep them up and enable them to gladly gobble down all 6 points that we will meekly hand to them on a silver platter!!!! He must be worth a punt at the bookies for their next manager???

I've looked and I can't find odds on Fat Sam to SAFC.

    I did spot this though.

Worth a cheeky £50 on them finishing above us I think.

He's going nowhere you clown <doh>

We played well tonight, we were the better team. Penalty was outside the box, we had another perfectly good goal disallowed, keeper had mare. Another one of those days where nothing went for us. It will even itself out though, we'll get our own run of luck and dodgy decisions that will get us results. Swings and Roundabouts.

Hahahaha - you were 0-4 down and the better team?! Or were you "better" once the fourth had gone in?!

No shame in being worse than City - every team is in this garbage league - but keep some dignity man.

You really weren't Bri. <laugh> It could have been 5 or 6 at half time (your manager even confessed this and was worried about double figures). Yeah it was even first 20mins or so and you actually tried to play a bit. But that last 15mins of the first half was alamo stuff. Man C just went into cruise control game killing mode 2nd half. It was a breeze for them.

Advocat looks a but beaten down at present but I don't think he is a quitter unless asked to. The players could help him out by not gifting goals like the first 3.

No shame in losing to Man City. The PL is so **** that it resembles all of those other mickey mouse European Leagues where only 2-3 teams are capable of challenging for the title.

Here's some advice lads, if you're going to comment on football, perhaps watch it. <laugh>

Oh look a Man CIty fan who saw exactly what I saw.

<laugh> You stick with it Bri, you have no hope of convincing anyone.

I watched enough. Aguero alone should have had 4 in the first half. Missed two really good chances and then the pen before taking pity with the open goal. The pen was certainly a foul, and it was a tight call on whether it was inside. At that pace you will get some for you, some against as to whether its inside.

2nd half Sunderland were better but as their manager who watched the game from a much better vantage point than most pointed out, that was due to City as much as it was Sunderland. The best team won. To try to convince yourself of anything else is how people end up on a funny farm

How's Colback doing? Knowing your superior knowledge and your wonderful ability for half watching games and giving prefect assessments I'm sure you're sticking by you're original comments and everything Sunderland fans told you is still wrong. :emoticon-0136-giggl

I'm not trying to convince anyone, I'm telling it how it is and showing another poster from the opposite side, who incidentally knows his stuff, who's also telling it how it is. Your footy knowledge is laughable at the best of times, you can't even assess you're own outfit. So it doesn't bother me that you're wrong again. See you later, nothing further to add, I've said how it is. Enjoy the much improved Colback.<ok>;)

Nope you are telling it how you wish it had been. Sadly for those of us who watched the game it doesn't wash. I caught the highlights too, that does no favours to help your cause either. I checked the stats too, sadly they were against you too.

Do you think your own managers football knowledge is laughable? He saw it much the same way as the majority (read the reports from the game, they are all pretty similar). I do like the Man C poster in question, but he can be wrong. Certainly the vast majority of professional reporting on the game did not note Sunderland as the better side.

I think I'll stick with my original assessment of Colback as a decent squad player who was improved last season from his showing for Sunderland. I imagine he will continue to get better as a footballer as I think I noted at the time. If you asked me to assess on this terms form, I think I have done so on many occasions, noting him having been terrible and requiring to be dropped. Overall he is still just a decent squad player who is being overused by our current management team.

Schools out, on your way :emoticon-0100-smile I'm off to watch us get beat again, but I'll probably just accept we were the worse side, rather than kidding myself.

You got hammered sir. The scoreline is a slight clue I'd suggest.

Astounding level of rage and bitterness.

We played better against a very strong City team then these did against a championships reserve side. Tash even said Wednesday didn't deserve it <doh>
