Err yeah there is. When no money leaves your pocket it's free. I've got it for Saturday too. My work gets tickets and all and I've been trying unsuccessfully to get hold of them all season. My seat is now empty every week, Allam is over £600 down on me alone and the attendance is 1 less than it would be every home game, even if I get a freebie like tonight. If I could get one every week while the club's in its current state I would. Once it starts being run properly again I'll be back every week paying full price.
No point labouring it. You've let yourself down if the young cant have principles and stick to them then its a poor show. You said you wouldnt attend home games anymore. you are. Sold out. glad you enjoyed the game.
Davies Hayden Maloney Can't understand why Hayden isn't getting more votes. Him and Davies were head and shoulders above everyone else for me.
Agree about Hayden, looked very purposeful and like he's improving with every game he gets, some spanner on Blunderside said he was 'average' think it was the same fella who couldn't understand the tactics which won us the game
Davies - Easily the best player for us tonight, looked like he did when we first got him. Hayden - Thought he was really good, certainly an improvement on his last league performance. Livermore - Has more to do in term of gelling with the squad, but he's clearly going to be an asset for us this season. Meyler would've got in if he wasn't so useless at making simple passes. Good battling midfield performance but he (and notably Robertson) often prevented us from getting out.
Hayden - easily his best game that I've seen Davies - solid as a rock Akpom - worked tirelessly for little reward Special mention for Jake, for getting through without letting the emotion get to him and for obviously keeping himself in shape.
Davies Meyler Hayden Special mention for Livermore and Akpom. Thought Meyler was much better with the ball today; while not everything he tried worked, at least he was looking for a forward pass. Played a lovely ball into Akpom in the 1st half that resulted in a good chance. Thought the midfield rotated intelligently to share out the work of pressing. All-round good team performance.
