Totally agree but still a shame, would love a team of home grown players too and that will never happen if we treat them like this (contract is irrelevant but have no idea why the world needs to hear all of this). If he left at the end of his contract simply say we tried to keep him, he wanted to go and we wish him well. You can buy many things Mr Cellini but you can't buy class.

I am weak. He managed to needle me to a point where I don't feel I want to compromise and I know you see it differently and I know that would be theright and bigger thing to do. I did try a few months ago, but when it was ignored / used as a part of yet another " I know everything" response all future reasoning on my part went out of the window. Am I proud of myself? Marcos, my concern is how close are we to the next Cellino meltdown. Hasn't taken long has it, months of stability and him keeping a low profile. Barely a week with Pearson gone and he's back on SSN, talking of buying back ER (keep the supporters sweet) and having a snipe at Bryan. Does he not think how that will play out with the other academy players who all came through with Sam, that it might create another division in the changing room? Sorry but I think he is trying to deflect that he's let one of our most saleable players go for nothing. Also note it's another two year plan. Wasn't he meant to be a failure if we weren't up by this season?
