He's a very good player. Not a savior, but a piece of a jigsaw - as , I believe is Alli. No, we're not in your league, but then we don't have hundreds of millions to throw around, but I'm starting to believe that we're finally building a team!
De gea has had equally great attacks coming at him and done just fine. Don't forget a still learning ddg played v Madrid and really shown a few years back, at a time when Madrid were probably better than Barcelona (for a short spell). Neymar flatters to deceive for me. Sometimes he does great things and others he just flops over and gives up. His attitude isn't great either. With suarez , you know he's a dixk but he never gives up. Even then, neither are in messis league, few are. Ronaldo followed by Muller for me and there's a big gap from Ronaldo.
No, you just choose to interpret it that way. You have only to look at the way Southampton so easily took your defense apart, only to be foiled by DeGea. The word here in Spain is that Real will take him by next summer, anyway.
Tbf we had kept the same defence for quite a few games and you could dee the progress it made. Suddenly we lose Shaw and Darmian looked tired so we have to change it. We also changed the keeper so in the last few games we've made 3 change's to our back 5. Nobody will deny its shown but any side having to change over half their defence isn't going gto look quite as solid. Its a real Shane Shaw suffered a horrid injury, he was well on his way to cementing his place as the best lb in the league. Really going to miss him.
Not so clear cut now. Madrid shamed themselves massively this past summer. He's also going to cost significantly more.
They're not a team. Personally, I don't rate Smalling, anyway. You've conceded 5 in 6 games. If you want to get back to the top table, your defense needs surgery.
Smallings been great. He's certainly come along way in the past year since his horror show against City last November.
5 in 6 averages out at just under 32 across a 38 game season. I'd be delighted with that. Chelsea conceded 32 in winning the title last season.
Guarantee there isn't. They don't exist nor do they have any legality in the UK. We may have an agreement verbally but their will be no written clause. We wouldn't have offered it for one if Real want him, then they cough up. Simple as. This summer has shown we are a big enough entity that the likes of Real Madrid will not dictate how things work. We may not have intended the outcome we got but we did intend to show Madrid and the rest of the world, we wont back down. Even Ronaldo didn't have a clause in his contract, Fergie simply allowed him to move and Ronaldo repaid us by staying another year.
Legally, a contract is a contract. If it was signed willingly by both parties, it's legally enforceable.
Not if a clause in the contract is not enforceable by UK law. HIAG will be able to clear this up for us.
Doesn't quite work like that in English football. Liverpool showed us just how they work. They literally have no legal standing and are not worth the paper they are written on. If we were on Spain then you would be right. Even then its a little more complicated than simply meeting the release clause. Take a look at the last few clubs to deal with Bilbao. They did have a release clause for both Herrera and Martinez but it was far more complex than simply paying the money.
Football is one thing, the law is another. I would still contend that if signed willingly, and witnessed, there is a legal claim to make.
You are free to put any clause you like in a contract are you not? It doesn't mean it has any legal standing.
