I would be worried if any of the Glazers were tweeteing, on what players were staying or not.
Thats the managers job or is Kenny just the coach now?

Still he owns the club and he can do what he likes.

But we are laughing at him, so he plans to keep players that are not up to "Liverpool standard", yes we over Manchester are very worried.

Auld custardy, board wouldnt be the same without you eh.

Unfortunately, John is not telling us he is keeping anythng as I am sure a shrewd Businessman knows what the fk he is doing.
Maybe a little confidence trick, showing faith in a player, however public and apparently footy unedcuated a comment as such as that from an American might seem, it will still give confidence to the player/s and also get the fans buzzing and the opposition riled, both achieved and we'll see about the confidence soon enough.

You see Mancs and the rest actually like Henry, and it kills them, he's a cool owner so far and his wife is hot

Thing is we don't know what he's up to but I assure you that he is not just makin some random, 'I now about football but I don't really' comment

You do realise we are in the middle of the transfer window? I mean lets get real! The coaching staff will have discussed who is leaving and which areas they need to strengthen during the season; Kenny probably started his shopping & chopping lists before getting the job! Scouts will have been identifying potential targets based on 2 particular categories - who they think is good in their experience, and players that meet a potential criteria given by Kenny. During the final furlong of the season Kenny will have met with the board and discussed definate leavers and players that can leave should the right signing be made. Budgets would have been set, and not being a 'sell to buy' club, massive compromises are not necessary. Wanted players will have been perused at board level, with both Kenny and financial SME's present most of the way.

All the above happened weeks and weeks ago. What is tweeted is tweeted and, to be honest, doesn't really matter in this sense - i.e. "We aren't selling". It doesn't matter who comes out with it, its who made the decision - i.e. don't shoot the messenger. Kenny wants them to say, JH told you they are. So what?
