We have put together some reasonable stuff but everything City have tried seems to just benefit them with a goal. We have got nothing out of this but it was not by dint of effort. Had the Borini goal stood, as it should have done, then who knows?

Chuffed to bits that we kept it at 1-4......how sad is that?

Aye, they won the first half, but we showed them in the second. Honours even.

Well I guess Vito won't be starting on Saturday! I hope!!

I dont think we played too badly. How did dimichelis not get a second yellow? Again saw some promise. Borini and Yedlin looked good

Strange game..We started so well and then went behind against the run of play to a penalty that we all know would have never have been given the other way, We then score a perfectly good goal that for some unknown reason is ruled out. There keeper then makes a great save and one minute later we are two behind and then heads start to drop. Credit to both the team and fans for sticking by the team in the second half..

Dicks going nowhere, these outside assessments are way off.

The game? I thought we played well. Ola missed a sitter and there was nowt wrong with Borini's goal. The problem from a tactical point of view is without doubt the fullback positions, responsible for all four goals, the fullbacks leave far too much space behind them. Always out of position with no cover. City were ****e. De Bruyne and Sterling cost more than our entire squad.

I would much rather stick with Advocaat BUT if he walked it's Allardyce all the way for me like. People on here saying they would rather we were relegated than have him...really??? Like i said IF Advocaat walked and i hope he doesn't then i would def have Allardyce. He would sort the defence out straight away imo. The way it's going at the minute our defence WILL get us relegated...

Great 'side step' by the first intruder to evade capture from steward no.2... He made him look like a right knob! <laugh>

Advocaat was seething especially when the second lad ran on just after we scored.

Few of the players were upset too. Not bothered with it being kids like. But if they were men I would have been booing them.

I as ****ing angry at that! We gain a little momentum and it's all taken away. The first lad, however, certainly stopped a city break

Whilst I think you're right reg, i was sat less than thirty yards away and it looked every bit a penalty to me! Stonewall!

But I thought we played well. Scoreline did not reflect the match IMO. Borini'so goal was fine. Although sky said it was a foul... I bet they didn't say the same when Aguero used his body to shield the ball from Coates (when Coates got booked) which was, in EVERY way, identical to the goal we had ruled out.

Not to worry though, the pundits all say they even themselves out so we're now owed two goals and a penalty from offside or dives. Or does it not work like that?
