If he doesn't want to play for us anymore then he knows where the door is. Many have left before and flopped. Hopefully he's aware of that
Evening all. Worry that Byram maybe being ill-advised. Don't care what some on here say, when on song he is still a class act who can only get better. But chasing the PL dollar by joining a PL outfit might end up wrecking his career
Doubt if there's a player in England that would choose a mid table championship club over pl riches. Certainly no agent would let them anyway Boggers
Have to disagree with you Ristac (again! ). Rev was indeed talking about banter, specifically when it crosses the line, as it had done for him (and tbh, most of us).
Spelling fixed, Marcos. Think I'm getting muddled with this dreaded lurgi that's taken over my body for the last couple of weeks. Bt, I have no objection to the occasional outburst, nor am I a stranger to it myself. I'm sure LL would have laughed to be called a tool. I agree with you that when you have to describe behaviours with the word 'sinister', then it's gone a stage further than banter/anger.
Gave up? That's an interesting way of putting it. Not so much jumped as pushed. Since he realised he wasn't getting a seat on the board (thank god) without deserving or buying it he lost interest. Never got his credibility back after getting his trousers pulled down for bullshitting his and lusts importance. If it wasn't to the furtherment of GaryCooper he wasn't interested.
You miss him though. I remember some of your affectionate chit chat on Twitter. At times it was quite sweet
Hey I don't hold grudges I clearly read (and it is on the thread you created for all to see) Rev say "It's been a pleasure but I honestly can't stand leeds60" Now I stress again, I am not taking sides (it would be easy for me to do so) but this is not I am leaving because of banter. I am not entirely sure what you call banter and what is arguing/disagreement - If you are talking about my own spats with leeds60 then that is not banter and if this is what you refer to when you say "most of us" again I disagree. My final word on the matter is that I have received PM's from more than one source telling me that Leeds60 has admitted enjoying "flame wars" with me and Glory because it takes his mind off his problems. I don't enjoy it or his outbursts and he won't be using me as a punch bag any longer.
You might have a point, http://www.not606.com/threads/cellino-confirms-he-is-bates-in-disguise.311799/ a new thread started by WJ which looks like it spells the end for Byram.
I am one of those people who at that time (perhaps a couple of months ago?) suggested to ristac that he and I were being used as punch bags as some form of therapy. This was confirmed to me only last week by the same two people that contacted ristac. Speaking for myself only, if there had been a private apology and I had been asked if I was ok with it I would probably been OK with it carrying on. But it never happened and I am done with it permanently. If someone wants therapy tell a McMillan nurse. I want leaving out of it period I really don't care. I would miss the place and just about all of you but I won't be putting up with some of the ****e that kept coming my way even after I repeatedly tried to help out and asked on three occasions for it to stop. Age and illness are no reason to be a Cnut.
Think about us a season or two ago. We would not have had a chance in a million of persuading Buckley to join us, unless we paid him stupid money, and then he would probably have still said no.
Hope you're feeling better soon pal, If you look at the age of our midfield, they should be running all day.... So why aren't they? Do we miss an experienced head in midfield?
