Thank you for the informative post. It's on BeIN Sports in the US. Doesn't sound like I'm going to get the Sterling/Yedlin matchup I was hoping for. Doesn't really matter who City puts out there. It's going to be great.
Well should be a defeat but as ever I will be hoping we somehow scrape through to the nxt round. Ha way the lads.
Sunderland will have the first team on the pitch who owe the supporters a performance after the start we've had. There's been enough to suggest there's a basis of a team there so another 'practice match' can't hurt. It's pointless hoping for a cup win .......... Ashley has already promised the Mags they'll win and they believed him, so that's that. I wouldn't want to get to the final and lose to them
Just finished my stint of night shifts so I will be on the piss early for this one...Ha'way me bonny laaaads..
Have you seen something in him I haven't this year? I've lost faith in him I'm afraid. Unless Advocaat has seen an amazing change in training, I wouldn't bother. There's an argument for changing things around in a cup game (see below), but there's also an argument for keeping the same side as far as poss to give them time to gel, get fitness back up etc. If I was to give anyone more of a run out it would be Watmore and other youngsters, plus Yedlin.
Not really. Guess i dont really want to write him off. When maybe i should. For this game id like to see Rodwrll at cb. Also id like to see a front three of. ..... Lens. .Borini......AJ.... Just out of curiosity.
Can't argue with trying out new things, just can't see the point of reverting back to the old when that hasn't worked, although I take your point about not wanting to give up on Catts. Trouble is, he doesn't look that talented anymore against others we've now got in midfield, so he needs to excel in effort and organising & motivating others.
"Trouble is, last season when he was in the team we picked up more points.. He's out ATM we ain't picking up the points.." Sure I've seen Catts in the side this year.
Pelegrini cannot put out a weakened team !, but who will Dick start ? I say get back to 4-4-2 and bring Johnson back.
Don't know what to wear tonight, two met office associated weather sites giving two different forecasts.
