Will we be clever enough to have got a sell on clause in case he goes for even bigger bucks next time?
Just spoke to my wise old brother...who quite rightly pointed out that if Taraabt threw strops every time he had a bad game, which is would a lot more often in the Premiership, we are probably better without him and with the cash so long as the money is given to Warnock to invest in new players. Sad to see him go, but does make sense as Taraabt was brilliant on his day, but could also be a liability.
If he has gone then we would've made at least a 1000% profit on his transfer fee and been promoted due to this guy.... Will go down as a Qpr ledge and will be welcomed back with open arms by me if he ever steps back in England.
Sorry guys I have to disagree, IF! he's gone I for one will be gutted, I feel just the same as when we sold Sir Les! what followed...RELEGATION!!!
How could you possibly compare the two? Personally I'm glad to see us get such a good deal for someone who had very little class in the personality department and is totally unproven as a footballer.
I'm not comparing the the two just the situation! Les was fantastic and if Adel stayed he could have become an R's legend! yeah I agree he's got the personality of a dead dog! but what the heck, I ain't gonna invite him round for dinner am I, the guy scores goals, end of.
What is your owner thinking of? Losing him after getting you up with Dyer as a replacement is just asking for trouble
