    Good Morning Everyone,

I want to address you all about recent events.

This is a a football forum. You have to expect Sarcasm, wit, banter and a bit of winding up, but it seems to have got out of control a little, to such an extent, that valued members of our board either have left, or are thinking of leaving.

So let's try a bit of damage control.

We don't expect everyone to have the same opinion.

We don't expect everyone to get on

It is understandable that some will enjoy the banter, whilst others only want to concentrate on Leeds Utd matters.

I can understand how the banter can annoy those that just want to talk about the super Whites.

I would like to suggest a banter thread, and we sticky it, and remove most of the other items from the board?

If there is a poster that winds you up, or you don't like, press the ignore button.

If you can't find it, let me or Bucks know.

If anyone wants to talk about the above, or has an issue would they please pm either myself or Bucks.

You are all valued members of this board, and we don't want to lose anyone else.

With Will Buckley soon to be added to our squad, how does this effect your views of Leeds ambition?

Would you settle for the squad as it is?

Happy with the squad at the moment, can't fault Cellino TBH.He's put money where his mouth is.Some grumpy guy in the south stand affecting home form.

Cannot believe Leeds have not won at home since March, do you think there is a lot of negativity in the home crowd?

Is the atmosphere very different with the away supporters?

Would have preferred Johnsone over Buckley, but still a good player so pleased to get him. Byram may be sold but on present form he's not going to get us a great deal of cash, although to be fair to him he thrive under a manager who knows how to use him.

Pleased with squad and the backroom set up just not overwhelmed with Rosler so far, and know Big Mick would jump at the chance of coming home and being given backing, or even Pearson

Yes although it won't go down well with the locals  the best fans quotes is IMO down to none Leeds based fans in general, although there is always exceptions on both sides.Local Leeds fans seem to turn on the team quicker IMO.

Morning all. Please don't get carried away with Buckley's signing. Wngering is not our main problem in midfield - in fact it's a fairly minor problem. More major issues to be addressed are:

    * teams cut through our midfield like a hot knife through butter.
    * our midfield aren't sharp enough at getting back to help out the defence.
    * our midfield have a dreadful habit of staying in midfield & expecting the defence to hit a sweet pass to them instead of coming looking for the ball. Result? Too many long balls, most of which we lose.

I could go on, but these are the most glaring & destructive problems we have. A new flavour of winger will not cure these problems.

Yours grumpiliy (yup, this heavy cold has been with me for 11 days now & I'm having to cancel my 5 day trip to Riga 'cos I can't fly. Not a happy bunny).

Morning all, we don't have a wide player for months then we get three in the space of a couple of months, I am very happy with the capture of Buckley and would imagine him walking straight into the team ahead of Byram.

As much as I rate Adeyemi since coming here I don't think he is a good enough DM to be doing the job by himself which appears to be what our other midfielder's are expecting of him. He's not Makelele.

Of our other midfielders, only Phillips can really be seen as a defensive minded midfielder. Do we think that perhaps he should be playing alongside Adeyemi with either Cook or Murphy as the other midfielder?

    Morning all

    What did I miss yesterday?

On Buckley, yup we need an extra winger but like jock says it won't solve anything. However I do hope that it will push Byram back to RB and hopefully up his game. As for the center of mid I do think we need some experience e.g. Barton or Nolan and It's time to get rid of Sloth and Bianchi as I have come to the conclusion they will never play for us again.

Bianchi is more than capable of doing the holding midfield role when fit. He's a decent player who doesn't lose the ball much despite many fans opinion of him.

Why should we push Byram back to right back when he is obviously leaving and not as good as Berardi there. Bianchi will defo play for us again when fit, he's another foreign player used as a scapegoat by knowledgeless fans who never watch him play.

Why is it so obvious Byram is going?? And even if he is, why keep him through the summer not to play him and take advantage of him being here. Personally I think Berardi has been very good there and not deserving of losing his place but your reasoning I find strange.

Personally I agree about Bianchi. He's useful but doesn't seem to bring much impact. Does keep it ticking but we have a lot of players like that. Does a job defensively but I wouldn't say he is a defensive midfielder either. He's an alternative to Murphy imo.

Byram should be pushed to the RB position because wait for it... He's a right back that's why he's been crap all season cos he's been played out of position. I don't think it's obvious he's leaving saying he was linked to every club in the Premiership this summmer and didn't leave. No Bianchi is not a Scapegoat but he won't be here much longer same with Sloth.

Bianchi is a good player more in the Gary MacAllister creative mould. He's on the way back from injury and turned down a move back to Italy during the summer because he wants to stay and fight for his place. Great attitude to have.
As for Byram he'll have to do the same and fight for the RB slot because Berardi has made it his own and has done a fine job.
Nice problem to have, two decent RB's competing.

All we need after that is another decent LB to compete with Taylor and possibly a 5th striker as back up and I'd be happyish with the amount of player we have

    Agreed. I live in Harrogate!

Chesh most travelling fans don't go to every game and therefore it's probably easier not to get wound up by seeing the same ****eness not being addressed week after week. Currently nobody can seriously suggest they are happy with just waiting for the madman to throw his toys out of the pram again.

Not everyone sees a negative slant on everything though Glory. Male menopause maybe. Youd better amend the throughing his toys bit before some of our grammatical geniuses see it

About the substantive point. Yes this is a football forum but the reason this board is so busy is because we don't confine ourselves to discussing our teams ****eness. In fact the majority of posts made are matey banter. Instead of confining things to one thread how about having a live footy thread usually the match thread or a transfer window thread that are out of bounds to banter until the game has been played or the window closed.

Still feel that the point has been lost that this was all caused by one person not having any concept of self awareness, not knowing when to reign it in and the mods not dealing with things when they should have. Now if that upsets any of the mods and if I am the problem just say the word...

Not everyone watches the team through a haze of anti depressants and alchohol.
There is room for all opinions, and indeed it is possible to make a point just to have a debate....
