Lets be clear. If there is someone better then i would leave. Believe me sayd DA. Make of that what you will. If he was to go either walking out or god forbid sacked. What then? Please no one say get big sam. So will DA last the season? Edit. Delete this ****e. Just seen marcus thread.
Mind games with the overpaid prima donna players. Like smithy I expect him to see at least this season and possibly another.
Lets hope so. As it would maybe suggest that he feels happy that the team is heading in the right direction. But i would like to see him have an under study. Maybe his succesor in place fairly soon. Maybe someone like Zenden. Get him in now. Gain the experience working with DA for a season or two.
Is Cocu coming. It would seem unlikely considering he has CL football but the Dutch media appear to be fairly confident its happening. Him or Zenden would do me.
That would do nicely. Would like whoever it is in place asap. Have them wprking alongside DA for a while.
Maybe the dteadful start to the season. Im not sure he.ll last either. I want him to. But we shall see.
No I don't think he regrets it he can see the bigger picture. We've had a badly planned pre season meaning players aren't up to scratch. But I'm confident we will see a. Good team soon enough.
Where can you see the first win? At what stage can you see him packing his old kit bag and running for the ferry?
I think he will be here this season and next. Sunderland isn't just a one season job to get right. He won't want to walk away from the Premier League after his career without making some sort of success at it. The club can't afford for him to walk because they have to build stability. Short term over the next few games we may be in for a bit of turbulence so let's fasten our safety belts but....I firmly believe he has added some quality here. We will be alright.....just got to hang in for now till everything get's up to speed. It's remarkable how many times we have seen things change within two games....
It's a yes from me, he's brought in good players and has a job to finish and despite the media all having us nailed on for relegation I KNOW he will keep us up.
I think he's regretting it right now - his face when interviewed yesterday was pretty downcast. But you don't get to be where Dick Advocaat is by quitting any time soon. I think if he leaves this season, there'll be a few who go before him. He's got Short behind him, Congerton behind him, even Byrne and her office staff see Dick as a breath of fresh air. And that sort of combination bodes very badly for those who think they run this club. I think Dick will feel a lot happier by February 1st. I think we will too.
As long as the fans remain behind him, then he will stay. Dont think he will stay for long if we turn on him though. I really hope he stays, as we need a bit of stability now imo. Changing managers every season hasnt done us any favours -even if it was justified at the time
I have a dreadful feeling that if things dont pick up in the next month or so, that he'll walk, and that could really plunge the club into crisis mode. I'm concerned about his body language during games but more so in his news conferences, both before and after. Tbh, I don't know much about his behaviour with other clubs before he took this job, but he's already looking like a man struggling for direction and answers. My glass is always half full, but I don't like what I'm seeing when he's on the box. Please, anyone, give me some good news about the club and cheer me up
I predicted/hoped at least 2 wins by now, so there is no point in predicting where the first win will come from now. Doesn't matter who we play we are capable of serving up complete and utter dross, normally the more important the game is, against the poorest sides, the worse we play. I cant see him walking away as such, maybe a mutual parting of the ways after us lining up a replacement over a period of weeks where Advocaat would be kept in the loop. When that will be will depend on how long this ****e continues.
