Liverpool league finishes in the last 6 seasons

    7th, 6th, 8th, 7th, 2nd, 6th

    And Evertons....

    8th, 7th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 11th.

The delusion that you're somehow streets ahead is just that.......

However what you're definitely streets ahead in, is the spending.

In that same time frame, you've spent more than £220m more than us. Great value I'm sure....

    Big club indeed <laugh>

Martinez has only had 2 seasons and unless we won the league in his first season, I reckon you're talking ****

  6. Could have sworn he joined the same year Brod joined Liverpool. Oh well, he's never finished above Brod then, makes Shtan's comment even worse <laugh>

Not sure I ever said he'd finished above Brod. In fact, I'm certain I didnt. I do think he'll finish above Brenda this season though as he's showing signs of developing his team whereas Brenda doesn't seem to have a clue as to what his best team or formation is after 3 seasons in charge and hundreds of millions of pounds of investment.

  8. Bit harsh to group all three seasons together, Brod hasn't <laugh>

Rodgers will be lucky to still be here at the end of the season the way we are playing.

Martinez points compared to Rodgers in the PL:

    2011-12: 4 points behind
    2012-13: 25 points behind
    2013-14: 12 points behind
    2014-15: 15 points behind

Sorry fella but I really do think that will happen, Liverpool are awful. In the same way that I predicted Liverpool wouldn't finish in the top three this season and in the same way that I laughed at your prediction that Liverpool's strike force would be second only to Man City's last season.

Perspective is the answer Martinez is doing a decent job at Everton the fans are fairly happy with him. Rodgers is doing a terrible job at Liverpool and the majority want him out.
Add Martinez to Liverpool and give him the same cash as Rodgers I think Martinez would stick to his way of playing and not panic and abandon it. Overall I think we'd be in a better place but not one that we are altogether happy with I don't think he could take us to where we want to be but hey that's going to take one hell of a good manager.

No problem, bookmark away. I'm confident that Liverpool won't finish in the top three (happy to put money on that if you're brave enough?) and I was always confident that a strike force of Balotelli, Lambert etc wouldn't be the second best in the league. Pretty confident that Everton will finish above Liverpool. I'd certainly take the odds.
