Simple question. Amidst all the conflicting viewpoints in the media and in the various threads on here where do you stand right now??

Vote and then explain your position and why you voted that way below if you want.

    Yes.

I was undecided end of last season. Balanced between "but 2nd" and "how crap was that season".

When FSG didn't sack him my comments were: "give him 6 games" and then judge him.

He has had 6 games and made all the same mistakes. He needs to go whilst a new manager still has time to save the season.

Undecided based on the idea that FSG need a very clear idea of what we are replacing him with.

He came in with a philosophy and while much of the blame of failing lies with Him the set up around him has been convoluted, murky and lacks a sense of accountability.

Why are we not getting our first WC targets and what are we doing to change that?

Otherwise the next manager will get bogged down in the same ****e.

I usually always vote that but I refuse to in Mito's absence. I quite like Mito and don't want to insult him behind his back... Only to his face.

I've been Rodgers out for a while, I did have to retract my initial knee jerk reaction after a good run but overall I just don't think he's the man for the job, too many silly quotes and terrible performances when it really matters.

To be fair... We were getting good results first three games but that was more down to luck and bad referees.

The only decent game so far was Arsenal.

One of my biggest issues is Rodgers v Transfer Committee.

It seems like both Rodgers and the committee have different transfer targets, and both targets are expensive.

Instead of both parties discussing and analyzing the targets to decide who is best they just sign both. Rodgers then picks his targets while leaving the committees in the reserves. This means half the budget gets wasted and half our new players are unhappy. This will always be terrible for morale.

Markovic v Lallana and Lovren v Sakho highlight this issue perfectly. Its a mess. Where is the communication.

If that's true, the committee has more of a clue than Brodge. He should stop being stubborn and play the best man instead of his own man.

Exactly - there is no cohesion between the two sets even they should be operating as one. Instead, players are imposed on others and it becomes political.

Fact is - committee targets are better than Rodgers preferred ones. Rodgers could actually be half decent if he trusted the players he was given. Allowing Rodgers to spend £50m on Soton players after finishing 2nd hurt us badly.

I know it's ifs and buts BUT if it wasn't down to a Coutinho worldie and an offside goal that was given, we'd be bottom.

    Scary stuff.

Hodgson was sacked after his last 16 league games earned him 20 points.

    Rodgers's last 16 games - 19 points.

I wonder if all our our signings this summer were committee. I'm almost certain that Firmino was.

That 2nd place has haunted us. Because of it we can't lose Rodgers.

It's official then? Wodgers is worse than Woy? Although as bad as many of Rodgers signings are... They arnt as bad or unambitious as Roys. Roy sold good players and purchased relegation fodder players. He set us back three years in 3 months.

To be fair... If Rodgers was licking Van Gaal's anus publicly like Roy did with Fergie's I think he would be gone already.

Is Rodgers more tactful or is Van Gaal's anus less tasty?

Clyne and Ings were good signings. <ok> Benteke was way overpriced. Should have got someone better for that money.

Although, I'd prefer a better first team striker. Ings more one for the future or backup striker for me (although on current form belongs in first team... Looked good every time he's come on).

    Lol..contradictions again.

So is it Brod has the final say on transfers? so it's his fault.

Committee is an autonomous body outside of Brod and picks better players so he doesn't play them. Only plays the ones he paid for with his personal cheque book against the wishes of the committee..Brods fault.

So the committee can force his hand or have veto on certain players but not others. Does Brod get a monopoly get out jail free card each transfer window that allows him to get "his" man.Lol..

Or its the entire system that is at fault either in allowing a mediocre manager to hide his inadequacy (as well as the scouting team)or alternatively thwarting a manager from carrying out the plan he had and FSG agreed with stupid stats and analysys they trust but dont know have enough of their own football knowledge to actually test the data?

Let's clear the decks with all the bullshit. On the football side FSG imposed a self sufficiency limit on player spending and wages. They've faffed around creating a bastardised half European, quarter British, quarter American set up hoping that if they spread a wide net they'll get lucky and buy players happy on half the wages of top four players but producing top four performances. It hasn't worked. It's wasted money because they pay high fee low wages on players you could get the equivalent of low fee low wages who'd out in the same performance and have us in the same place on the table.

Cards on table. Do they want us in the top four or not and if so start paying players enough to come. If not then be honest and tell the fans to get used to this hit and hope high risk of failure methodology for the near future..

And then say goodbye to dreams of decent managers wanting the job.
