    My 11 yr. old daughter: "Soccer is a dumb game. You run around a lot - and get kicked in the shins."

    Not really, it's the under developed curved spine, not dissimilar to that of the Australopithecines Afarensis, that creates an illusion of shortness in the men of Newcastle.
