Glory,my mother in law fell out of bed yesterday,she had a knee op about a month ago,she broke her hip,so has just been operated,on a sunday!health service here is amazing.shes in intensive care,but will be OK. Hope yer mother in law is OK.

Yep. Looks that way. 75 year old and up a fecking ladder putting a suitcase in the loft. Fell off went over the banister then down the stairs. Wouldn't mind but has three spare bedrooms and we were going to see her tonight and would have sorted it.
Wow,she's lucky to be alive!! The old ones are the stubborn ones, She probably did the same last year so this year was no different.
All the best glory. Not much else I can say, but anyone the knows me will remember what I've been through in the last 5 years with the Mrs so I know what your going through.
She's fine now, broke her neck in two places including the hangman bone and was in a halo for 6 months then 2 years ago had an infection that the doctors failed to diagnose and drove herself to Winchester hospital that operated straight away over Christmas, they didn't know what it was until they opened her up and I had to sign papers waiving the right to sue and stuff as she was on her death bed. Full recovery know. Tough little ****er thankfully!
