Nathan Dyer should be fit after a knee injury meant he missed the Stoke game. Matty James is out but everyone else is fit and available. So here is what I would go with Schwarzer Simpson Benalouane Wasilewski Fuchs Dodoo Inler King Dyer Kramaric Ulloa Subs- Schmeichel, De Laet, Hammond, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Vardy, Panayioutou
Definitely should be a bit of tinkering, will be good to give the likes of Fuchs and Kramaric a run-out against PL teams, it's a bit of a bonus one this. Can't honestly assess our squad against the likes of Bury. I think your team is spot-on Proud, although personally I'm hoping Simpson won't play (did he against Bury? I can't remember).
I´d have to agree to give about 4 or 5 others a run out. Fuchs must be thinking "ah, come on our DEF is poo, give me a chance to show you what I can do" Kramaric & Ulloa could do with about 80 mins atleast aswell.
I'd like us to take this competition seriously. A Wembley final would do the club a world of good. Proud's team looks pretty good. Just concerned about the lack of options at right back and central defence.
I´d have Albrighton in there some where, maybe instead of Inler. The rest though looks good. Those that do play have a lot to live up to. "UTF"
Kramaric has got to take his chance if selected against West Ham. Okazaki isn't scoring and has been the one substituted, so if Kramaric can bag himself a couple, he could get the nod against Arsenal.
He's beginning to look like 4th choice behind Ulloa for me, which is a shame as he's clearly quality and is a fair bit younger than Ulloa, Vardy and Okazaki. He needs to be playing to get his confidence up. Wouldn't be surprised if Ulloa comes in for Okazaki against Arsenal, but Kramaric needs to seriously prove himself in midweek if selected.
Ranieri's suggested that it will be a similar team as played against Bury, although a couple of those have since broken into the first team. I imagine we'll see King and probably Albrighton start.
Dodoo may get a run out too, but I´d start with Ulloa & Kramaric personally. Maybe a good call ref Morgan. Best thing to do after falling off a horse is to get back on it I guess, but I´d give Fuchs a run out along side him. Could be a good idea to give King 75 odd mins or more too. I really hope we have a go though tonight. Normally I say **** the cups, but I really believe we are strong enough as a squad to easily stay up so a cup run... & maybe a cup final ... would be nice. #lcfc starting XI: Schwarzer, Simpson, Benalouane, Wasilewski, Fuchs, Dodoo, King (c), Inler, Albrighton, Ulloa, Kramarić. #LeiWhu #lcfc subs to face West Ham: Schmeichel, De Laet, Kanté, Schlupp, Mahrez, Chilwell, Blyth. #LeiWhu
Be very surprised if that team beat effectively West Ham's starting 11! Danny Simpson's playing FFS...
I agree. Unfortunately 10 changes against a West Ham side that have only made three doesn't bode well.
Our objective is to avoid relegation - our great start doesn't change that we are after 40pts. Maybe at the end of the season we will be slating CR for not taking it seriously when we finish 10th or wherever but right now - imagine if the likes of Schmeichal, Vardy or Mahrez got injured...
