Were playing much better, as in, actually playing now. Saints fans are quieter and were going forward.
Dunno, tbh we could easily be ahead. Saints have changed their game plan and its not working for then as it did. Nev just alluded to it himself.
for GOD sake what is all those high long balls ? there are only one winner in those type of challenges.. sure is not short UTD psychically weaker players .. don't blame the players .. the plan set by LVG is naive and clueless
Shambolic first 30 minutes. Absolutely no excuses from the players or van Gaal. Last 15 much better. Credit to the players for that. Now LvG has to get them fired up and ready to win this one. Sub's have got to be BFS on for Carrick, Herrera for Mata and then whoever.
Saints have been hoofing it all game (the not606 definition of hoof BTW) yet you comment on us? We've barely hoofed it because we did **** all for 2 thirds of the half.
they were closing us down for 35min .. physically teams are not sharp at start of season to keep on chasing players and the ball as they start the match they can recharge though after half time rest
they can hoof bcz they have stronger taller players .. we have who to hoof balls to? their high balls caused us problems and they scored .. our hoofing was ending to one of saints players every single time
We've literally done nothing for 30 minutes though and we weren't hoofing I the last 15 Nor were saints BTW, I was mocking the forums use and cluelessness about hoofs. Saints were playing it into the channel and exploiting the pace they have and our now weakened left side. It worked a treat for a large part of the first half.
We really do play a turgid style of football nowadays. Hard to watch. The Cuban lad up front is doing well though.
How exactly is he making me look silly? So everytime we score you're right and I'm wrong? We've been **** mate. You know it and I know it. The logic is that when we start a game, we follow Van Gaal's plans. When the opposition score, Van Gaal expects the players to "figure it out" and they seem to do that by playing with some urgency and attacking flair. So what does that say about LVG that our players have a better understanding of the game than our manager?
