He's angry about it, isn't he! I do agree though. The number of times I've sat down to watch an interesting match, a player has been sent off, and the game is ruined. Makes me mad too.
The standard of refereeing seems to be getting worse and worse. A certain joker at Carrow Road on the opening day of the season springs to mind. The players don't help, though, with their simulation and haranguing. Nor do managers like Mourinho, who takes gamesmanship to the point of cheating. After the opening game of the season, for the first time in my life I am in favour of video replays.
The annoying thing is we probably wouldnt have had our goal awarded even with video replays because the ref had a clear view and made the decision. Feels unlikely they use a review in a situation like that. Unless each teamgets an amount per game, as has been suggested.
It might allow the ref to reconsider his decision though (or in that case the lino's decision). The deliberate unsportsmanlike behaviour of players like Diego Costa shouldn't be allowed to go on either. Completely agree with Crooks on that one.
