Not too many have given extended comments and feelings on the MKD game, probably cos we are all feeling and thinking along same lines. Rosler has me worried, well, thinking actually, ok both; he replaces Berardi, a RB who has played consistently all season with Wootton, who is very suspect and not up to scratch. Personally, I think it was a pathetic decision, this was followed by an equally pathetic excuse/cover up of a reason. Rosler claims he gave Berardi a rest because of the number of games he's played already (we're only on game No 8), damn, if that's the case then our whole team must be knackered and explains the mediocre to bad football against MKD. Seems like many players are going to be on their knees for next game, poor lads. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/09/1...n-why-scott-wootton-started-today-discusses/? Rosler said we won ugly, well, there's winning ugly and there's being very very lucky; we didn't win ugly, we won with a lot of lady luck on our side cos the football was dire although, some have said it's about time we had some luck, and I agree. The performance against MKD does not set us up very well for the next game, our next opponents Middlesbrough will put us to the sword and spin it around a few times if theirs, and our latest performance is anything to go by, in other words, they're going to absolutely wallop us. So, over next 7 days, Rosler has a lot of thinking to do in regards to who are our best team, where do our problems stagnate, and why, and how he's going to fix'em, if. I think Rosler is edging himself towards the line, there's nothing spectacular in the football, our scoring of goals is, well, snail pace and some of his decisions leave a lot to be desired, I also think he's playing favourites in a formation that doesn't seem to be suiting us; last time all that happened someone called Redders was the coach. I suspect, during his future interviews we're going to be subjected to more lies, excuses and cover ups and TBH, we've had enough of that from previous coaches. Personally, anyone who has to resort to lies, excuses and cover ups tells me they are unsure about what they're doing and how to fix our problems, recent coaches who did same have gone. I can sense Cellinos trigger finger starting to twitch, in all honesty I don't blame it at moment, although he may give Rosler longer than previous coaches if he doesn't buck up. Our midfield were playing everywhere except where they should, in other words they seemed to be playing some where else; Bamba and Cooper seemed to like having a go at each other, our strikers once again got very little service and MKD out played us for most of game, we were disorganised and disorientated, and Wootton should've stopped the cross that led to their goal. Luckily for us, our defence held it together enough to keep MKD's continual onslaught at bay, but only just. While we were very lucky to hang on for a win, MKD were very unlucky not to equalise, or win.
Couldn't agree more. I note that Mike has today agreed with a comment I made after the Burnley and Brentford game. Having all eleven players in the box to defend corners sends a message that we are a team happy with draws, it invites pressure and hands the initiative to our opponents. Rosler is a manger who sets his team up to draw and gratefully accepts accidental wins if and when they fall into our lap. In a word he is uninspiring.
Morning chaps. Yesterday we won. We are a long way from being a top team. But we won, & we created a few chances. Wood ran his socks off yesterday, but looks as though he needs a partner. I worry that we have Erwin on the sidelines who hasn't yet had chance to show what he can do. I think Antenucci needs to start with Erwin on the bench & being given a chance to show what he can do. I also think Botaka needs to get on soon, as I think he will light things up as soon as e gets his chance. We are now up to 10th only a couple of points off the playoffs. We have 'Boro away next week where we'll be really up against it. So let's stop all the negativity & get behind the team. Rosler is taking us forward, just not as quickly as some might like. Me, in Rosler I trust, MOT

I don't gamble Chippy. More to the point, we can't predict what's going to happen in the next month. So I'm not taking the bet & you can donate a tenner to the charity of your choice
If ur not betting I will donate it to the "lets help shaks pissed in a drinking marathon" fund. £10 is almost statistically insignificant in terms of the cash required but every journey starts with one step!
Morning all. Went to the pub yesterday afternoon to follow the proceedings on the iPad and maybe find a dodgy stream but bumped into a couple of mates and ended up smashed after the two rugby matches. As usual when I know nothing about how Leeds I come back to find we've won. Even on holiday when watching the Derby match we scored the minute they switched to the arsenal game. Sounds like we rode our luck and it seems Rosler is a bit of a cautious manager. I would have thought that when they went down to 10 men it might have been a good time to give Botaka some game time. Could have subbed Wootton, put Byram at rb and given the new lad 10-15 minute run out. Maybe it was because they were still bossing it. Still it's points that counts and at present we're not far off the playoffs.
It seems like squeaky arse time for every game, but you have to settle a side down and get some understanding between players, especially at the back. Rosler dropped Berardi the spaghetti muncher from right back, my obvious choice to replace him would have been Byram, nope lets put him in the position he has been struggling with all season and put Wooton there (Manc streak of piss) when has he had a good game for us?? Mr. Rosler has to start thinking a little bit more or he's on the conveyor out of LS11. Again the fans were fantastic, deserve better and should start demanding better, just you watch we shall go and turn over the smoggies on Sunday and all will be rosy again..........or will it? MOT
The reality though is thatb we are already 9-points off the top and a huge gulf to cross. Rosler needs to sort this mess out because 4 attempts on target is dire, and makes no sense Wood running his nuts off because nobody getting the ball to him. Karanka v Rosler means hands down win for Midds because they have an astute coach who understands tactics
I can tell you that I was actually delighted when I found out that Wootton was playing RB. That's because I had it in my head that he was going to be playing DM, with Byram at RB. Basically an open door to the middle of our defence. How relieved was I?
