Today Reading was the first side to completly and utterly dominate us.
    Men against boys today.
First shot on target after 80 minutes.
Reading ran the show from start to finish. They could even take their feet of the throttle and let us keep the ball.
Those boys do not look anything like championship standard.
Relagation is on the cards, unless SC who seems to be very stubborn with his 3-5-2 changes it to another formation, also adding some quality too his team.
For me it was like watching the team from two seasons ago.

The confidence is draining out of those players, today so so many mistakes.
    No direction,no end product,no confidence.

For me we looked a sad and ragged side today.
SC interview on Radio Bristol was a big concern to me,We never in a million years looked like a side that was better than the opposition, nor did we look like the better side during the game.
Listening to the views after each game is becoming a concern.
For me 4 points is relagation form on the games we have played so far.
So sad after the excellent season last year.
City today were poor, that is going to take some turning around.

Scary times and unless someone is prepared to admit we have come in to this division totally unprepared we could be heading back from where we came quickly. Shocking preparation, and sticking your head in the sand does not constitute the action required to placate the paying public. I am beginning to believe that we are a dysfunctional club ill equipped to do the job that we knew would be required to stay in the picture for the season. Shocking ineptitude in my books and we don't seem capable of accepting our mistakes and making the necessary adjustments to solve the problems. Admitting the problems is the first step, but I don't think we will do that, which keeps us heading down the road to nowhere. A waste of what we achieved last season.

Isn't that what the Florists told us about when he first came here...?

Must admit, I was too depressed to listen to the interview today but if he actually said that we were the better side today, he is seriously deluded.

Shocking performance today, absolutely pathetic, I honestly don't know why Cotts is so stubborn and keeps playing 3-5-2, I really don't like it because it's leaves us vulnerable at the back every time we give the ball away, I don't know why we don't have a plan B but I feel sorry for Kodjia, quality player being left upfront all the time on his own having to beat 3/4 players every game.

Personally I'm going to say this was a bad day at the office and we'll perform better next game, hopefully.

It amazes me that no matter how many times we travel the same route we have a total lack of concern or ability to fix the glaring problems. Many ask why we jump on the negative bandwagon at the earliest chance but looking back at our sorry history in the getting it right department it isn't any wonder. Things could fall apart quickly from here because nobody is listening and the continued option of feeding us positive statements that aren't worth the print or voice words makes it look like we're being taken for the usual mugs. Angry - no, just disappointed that the vibes from last season have long since been flushed down the usual toilet.

We were poor. The only surprise for me was that it was only 0-2.

I don't think we strung 3 passes together without losing possession-We aren't quick or determined enough,, other than Kodija, and he had to work on his own.

Central midfield concerns me, Pack did ok, but isn't Elliott's replacement. Smith worries me, last year he was excellent but too often, he seems to dwell and want too much time on the ball. Even Freeman isn't the player he ought to be at this level.

The substitutions puzzled me. Wilbs has a stinker, probably after having 90 mins midweek, but I would have hooked him 10 minutes before half time.

Pack went off, I thought he did better than Smith though and maybe that was the wrong choice.

Need more creativity. Its no good lumping the ball forward in vain hope, just to see 2 quality centre backs deal with it comfortably or asking Joe Bryan to control often impossible balls put across to him.

Playing Ayling as right winger was suicidal, not aylings fault as you have to play where you are put

As a life long City fan and pessimist, I allowed myself last season to be quite optimistic that our Club was finally changing for the better.
But somewhere deep inside me knew that I was kidding myself. Trying to suppress life long reality by believing that Bristol City had finally decided to throw off the shackles that have kept us chained to the third tier of English football, mediocrity and anonymity.
Yesterday afternoon just hammered home to me how foolish I had been to even allow such irrational thoughts to enter my head.
We are what we are. A club that tells us it is ambitious but never actually is. We like being a big fish in a little pond. Next season we will have a magnificent stadium to welcome the fans from Burton, Colchester and other tiny clubs.
At the moment, I am not sure that I can sit through any more pain and misery like yesterday. I think it is about time that I retired and dozed in the armchair on Saturday afternoons!

    PS. Sam Allardyce.

For those posters who were laughing when I said we are already in a relegation battle and it's only September, I suggest they might want to look at the table again this morning.

We're not bottom of the league but it's only because our poor goal difference isn't quite as poor as Rotherham's.
