They're not in there so how can they know whether it's good or not? And show me another of those 16 clubs who have our resources. Arguably you can give him credit for keeping us in top when we had no money. But that's not us now. Hasn't been for a few years. And he still can't anything else. He should move to another club with no funds and maintain the status quo there instead. What about them? Status quo. Cups every now and then. All he can do is beat the teams he already beats every now and then anyway. He can't do it in the big trophies when he has to beat the big teams. Or even in the smaller cups when he actually has to face a heavyweight. Zero progress for one of the richest clubs in the world.
You sound like A87, you are competing against the elite top section of world football, somebody has to win and somebody has to lose. Money does not always buy success, many teams have spent much more than Arsenal and failed (some even relegated). All you can ask of your team is that it competes to it's best and hope that is enough, if you feel the players are not doing this perhaps you should look at them and not the manager who has kept you at the top for 20 years. A87 thinks the FA Cup is a big trophy as you are in competition with all the top teams in the country to win it
Nobody is saying we always have to win, the thing is in the last decade, we have NEVER won in the league, and when it comes to the UCL we have never won full stop. We show no signs of managing to win which makes the situation worst. At least if there were good signs that we are moving towards winning the league and UCL that would be good, but are not even making improvements, we are stagnant at getting 4th and 3rd. With the resources we have, we should be doing and getting more, simple as that.
That I can understand It's just the "we should be winning" thing that gets me with some, there are a lot of good teams out there and winning has a lot of luck attached to the skill.
